So, what you are saying is that I have been wasting my time maintaining a bookmark list of all the caches in the Recommended forum?
What I am saying is I missed the big blazing sticky at the top of the forum on multiple occasions. 😳 My apologies.

Yes. I think T&B has a bead on the letterbox. 😀

Cool. Feel free to mail it with the one from March.
On the Left Side of the Road...There is of course the “recommended caches” forum here but there are two problems with using that as a tool, IMO. First off, you have to sort through stuff and if it’s an old post you’re likely to miss it.
Second, it does not translate to a bookmark list, which means there’s no easy way to download it, see what’s near you, etc.
I think there has got to be a way to combine the two concepts and improve on it at the same time.
There is already a list of “honorable mentions.” But what this list lacks is WHY those are HMs. The WHY is what the “recommended caches” forum has.
So that gets me back to my original thought, which was to simply add the voting form reasons to the bookmark list. Then you’d have a list of 250+ caches that you could download and see where things are. Then you could check the reasons why caches were nominated to see if they fit your “style.”

A lot of great caches are never nominated because it isn’t possible for them to get enough votes to win.
It’s unfortunate but this is pretty true.. I’ve not nominated based on this premise before. For instance, a cache that only 5 or 6 people has found but is an an excellent nomination for this honor.
Why not? The winner for April was only found by 8 people, so I’m guessing it got 8 or fewer votes.
I wonder how many votes “Chip and Dale” got?
It appears we’ll never know…
On the Left Side of the Road...Thanks everyone but who really gets the credit are all the people who put these puzzles and caches out. Without you all, nobody would have any finds!!!

That’s quite a hefty percentage of your finds.
I just did the math 😆 and just a tick over 25%. Lots of puzzles coming out so plenty to do. Gotta have something to do whilst watching Tae Kwon Doh tournaments, little league practices, etc etc etc….

Funny, I am a SE Wisconsin cacher and earlier this year I bought up this problem and I was told by many including some who have posted here that this wasn’t an issue.
I haven’t changed my stance on this. I have no issue with the COTM being a “popularity contest.” And I don’t have an issue with campaigning for votes from people who have found your cache. And, as I may have said before, there is value to being nominated to the list, because it means at least one person, and probably a few, thought it was something special.
[As one aside, a few months ago I wasn’t fully aware of the extent of soliciting votes from people who had NOT done a cache. That does truly cheapen the whole thing.]
My only point here, as you can see above, is that I am asking to see a final tally of the votes for all caches nominated for COTM in April.
Unless it’s a big secret or something 😕
On the Left Side of the Road...I wanna see the April results…for ALL the caches that were eligible for a vote.
On the Left Side of the Road...Who stole the thread? I wanna see April vote tallies…
On the Left Side of the Road...I would love to see a vote tally for all the caches nominated each month.

On the Left Side of the Road...On the same topic, but different TB, within the last month we’ve found two TBs, one that was missing for 2 years and one that was missing for 1 year.
So it gives us hope that some of our long-lost TBs will someday reappear!!!
