I had meant to post a note here before…better late than never…but obviously the organizers of this CITO put a lot of work and coordination with the parks departments.

AND I’m guessing shelled out a bit of their own coin for the brats…so…well done!

I’m also assuming (???) that there is no stash note in the cache, nor log book with the cache ID on it, to help track it to its rightful owner.

Ah good, here I thought the GB rag would have nothing to muse over for the next few months…

Here are some ones to consider, with an emphasis on challenges and long walks.

    GCJQBH – USS MACABI (SS-375) – Manitowoc’s WWII Submarines

A 2-mile roundtrip and a clever way of calculating the 2nd point.

    GCXHN8 – Long Tail Point Lighthouses 1859 & 1848

Great historic site; need a boat to get there (realistically)

GCMRDG – Bairds Creek Grand Tour “ZEE Middle”

2 mile round trip? This one has stood the test of time.

    GCGE6B – Door County Challenge

Nice concept of a progressively-difficult four stage cache.

GC104CE – Real Gone | Clang Boom Steam

Urban multi with drives from point to point. On the list for the way the final waypoint is derived, as well as the final itself. Oh, and the waypoints leading up to it aren’t bad either.

GCKJ6W – Lookout Above II | Last One Standing

Three stage multi with long walks, and long drives. “Fire, earth, and water” is right. Another nice “legacy” cache.

    GC12GV1 – Cliché Caché

All right, I’ll throw one of ours on the list. A four-stage multi and a four mile walk. Guess that’s why it’s lonely so often. ZoeBro did it in 1:40 but he’s young.

How about 18 holes of mega frisbee golf?

    Whooooop!

Holy cow did that brick come in flying close to my head or what…

The April prize has been “upgraded” to a letterbox hybrid with a custom-made (by me) and completely unauthorized WGA logo stamp…

If we “win” it in April, we’ll roll it over instead to May…or June…or July……………………….

Why don’t you just put out a cache that’s designed to move around within a .05 mile radius or something? Then the tours would have to work for it at least.

“Now folks on your left you’ll see a camoed…wait, is it your right…or maybe it’s straight ahead…or behind us…dagnabbit!!!”
