Plenty of s|s puzzle caches for everyone to get over the weekend, and a bunch of them are lonely.
That’s the plan, man! Then to follow it up with a little Tink pickling…or pink tickling…or whatever the heck that is. I believe we can convince the kids to hunt for some micros if we promise them a good night cache.
Now to just get this dang movie grid filled out. Yes we saved the hard one for last. Who needs to work?

I do not think that will help here …………
Why? Because you forgot where the cache is? 😯
On the Left Side of the Road...4 miles, I vote for skiis.
On the Left Side of the Road...You should definitely take Marc along for “Carol,” because even when you have the solve coordinates, it is helpful to have someone along who can tell you where the cache actually is. 👿
On the Left Side of the Road...Pirate Pete’s Plunder. GC172T8. Was just a whole lot of fun to put together and people who find it like it, which makes it worthwhile.
Borrowing from -cheeto’s- idea–we’d be remiss to overlook GC1HMCJ, Shawano County Cemetery challenge. It took months to put this one together, we learned a heck of a lot, and discovered a lot of places–that’s the point!
On the Left Side of the Road...We have a plate holder that says “gotta run.” does that count?

I can’t help to think what would have happened if the new logo just showed up one day without ANY input from members.
I bet you it wouldn’t have caused the ruckus this process did. “Announcement: we freshened our web page and logo. Hope you like it.”
Much of the frustration around this issue has arisen from the LOOOONG process itself, which gave people more time to develop vested interests in the outcome.

Though I will say that we do not XC ski often any more, so aren’t the fastest.
On the Left Side of the Road...Can we get our $100 back?
On the Left Side of the Road...Hey, that’s pretty good. It says “geocaching” visually. Well, at least “gps navigation.”

Oh, wait, they’re all frozen. See you in May! 😉 Maybe that should have been the logo… a ammo box encased in a large chunk of ice! 😆
Trench shovel/pick combos are about $20 at Fleet Farm. (They may be more at Farm and Fleet.) Work wonders on frozen in ammo cans. Can’t vouch for how they work on lock-n-locks.

did you hear that Sagasu? 😈
Sagasu knows that I (respectfully) disagree with him on this issue!
Though by far the bigger problems are people taking trackables and not logging them, or making them part of their personal mission/collection. And that bad behavior is NOT by any means limited to inexperienced cachers!!!!
On the Left Side of the Road...I don’t see anything in the two pages of comments that is disrespectful or inflammatory. I do see direct and pointed criticism. But, when one agrees to take on the responsibility of being part of “running things,” one has to be willing to take that criticism.
On the Left Side of the Road...IMO, the purpose of trackables is to move. If you don’t have a trackable but are willing to move one, by all means take it along, even if it leaves the cache devoid of bugs and even if it “violates” the cache-owners wishes to keep bugs in the cache. Feel free to take all the bugs if there are a bunch and you feel like moving them–as long as you log and move them!
Cache owners who “require” finders to trade bugs one-for one are being tremendously unfair to bug owners, particularly when their caches become lonely TB prisons as a result. The wishes of the trackable owner should come first; after all, they (in most cases) paid for the dang thing and put some thought into releasing it.

Arguing that our members were uninformed isn’t correct, because the “Washington issue” was discussed at that time. We all had ample time to peruse the information and make our decisions before voting.
If my recollection and quick research of the timeline is right, most of the “copycat” concerns didn’t really arise until July-ish, well after the voting modules had been in place. Yes it’s incumbent on everyone to stay informed but I don’t believe the facts were well known. I could be wrong.
I wonder what the WSGA would have to say about the new WGA logo? Anyone show this to them?
