As for Jim and his computer problems. Jim I plan to do a memory erase so these will be the new definitions.
“Windows” Open when it is warm, closed when it is cold.
“Mac” Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun
“Hard drive” It is a long way to the next cache.
“Mouse? What the cat is good for.
“Floppy” Can’t be discussed here.Very nice! 😆 ….and congratulations!

On the Left Side of the Road...Our spring cleaning of our caches has resulted in a whole lot of cache containers we need to donate or dispose of. Maybe I’ll give them to someone going to the next meet & greet in Green Bay and they’ll disappear.
On the Left Side of the Road...seldom|seen, I believe cache rescues get added fairly instantly and automatically to the list as new rescues are themselves added–I don’t think they’re compiled with the actual LCG list because the cache rescue list is dynamic.
Schedlers, the order in which you file reports IS important and isn’t really specified anywhere that I’m aware of.
You need to submit the LCG report FIRST, then the cache rescue mission.
When you file a completed cache rescue mission report, it disappears from the LCG list. I learned that one the hard way a while back.
If you send a note to Team Deejay, who manages the list (click on the “Members List” link at the left and choose “send private message” from TD’s profile page), my recollection is that he will “undo” the cache rescue report which will allow you to file the LCG report, then redo the rescue report.
If I’m wrong on that I’m sure I’ll hear about it but that’s my recollection.

You know I can’t resist that invitation. Let me know when you want to get high together, and I’ll be there…
Are you bringing the leaflets?
On the Left Side of the Road...My question is, are there any caches where the icon is used as a genuine caution????

Aren’t you already on the road to Eagle River?
On the Left Side of the Road...Thanks for the clarification. My comment about “saving” is in the context of actively working on a cache, not attempting to block a bunch of interesting spots.
I’ve also had very good results with asking the reviewers if certain placements were OK from a proximity standpoint before getting too far along in the creation process.

My understanding (from experience) is that there is no “saving” of WP’s when your cache is submitted. If you submit it and put things on hold for any reason, and someone else’s submits one for publishing, you lose your spot.
Hmmm…that’s different from what I was told by someone in an official capacity in the past…but I can’t deny your experience.
Can we get an official reviewer comment (to both issues)?
EDIT: Ok, I now remember submitting a cache several years ago and having it kicked back because someone else had a cache already submitted in the .1 mile area, which had some problems with it that were waiting to be resolved, so it was unpublished at the time.
On the Left Side of the Road...Just how many trinkets and swag could be in a magnetic container anyway? Sounds like a keybox.
I’m wondering what the court arguments will sound like…”So, you put a keybox, on a metal electrical panel, in a park, without permission, and someone took it?”
