Thanks, that did the trick and works great. I was almost there, but make a mistake with the following # 2 step below… I tried to find the file under a Garmin directory and not the drive…

2.Click “Browse” on this web page and go to the Garmin directory on your device’s drive.

    Thanks again

Thanks for this discussion. Last night I went to REI and purchased a Garmin Oregon 450. I looked at them months ago, but never acted on purchasing one. I was using a Garmin eTrex Vista and it still works (got me my first 450 caches), but time to move up…

Since I have an older unit that can’t handle GPX files – a bookmark list would be great… Thanks

Here is an interesting twist to another problem. What does a person do when the CO isn’t reachable to answer the question?

On the wall of tiles, for whom does the ‘Kettle Moraine Chapter’ honor?

    GCB093 The Forgotten War

This cache is located in Plover, WI at the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Take your time here to read about the statues and their symbolism, and to read the dedications on the wall tiles. We also ask that you respect those that are honored here and for those that have served our country, and remove your hat while visiting.

I think this might be the only way around this problem – see GC2M0QD – lock them up…

Interesting, I never knew that – thanks

Why do we need to enter a Security Code during log in?

I think it a great idea. This sport is big enough to support a lot of different types of caches. Do/participate in the ones you want to do and ignore the rest.

It’s nice being retired… I think it’s time to get outside and do some birding and caching!

[For the time being, fixes are being made to the live system. When things start to slow down, I’ll take a more structured approach.[/quote]

Is this the best practice to follow? In the “real world” this would never fly! I hope you have a good back-out and test plan!

This sounds like one of those new “tools” – think of it as a present from Walker!

Another interesting program – A History Lesson In Labor Unions

I found this program to be very interesting.

An enlightening discussion of the likely effects of the Walker budget on Wisconsin’s schools. Virtually eliminate reading and speech specialists past third grade and AP classes? Adopt a four-day week that has as many contact hours as the current five-day week? Spend 45 minutes listening, and you’ll be alternately angry and sad.

Governor Scott Walker announced his proposed budget on Tuesday and it includes $834 million in cuts to state K-12 education spending over the next two years. Guest: Stephen Correia is an Associate Professor of Education at St. Norbert’s College.
