OK BQ… As I posted on FB this was a possibility… And I’ll be tailgating… and count salyforth in too since she’s riding with me 🙂
Thanks to everyone for all the comments about your various gps units and your experiences. I think I’ll take a trip over to REI to check out what gps will work best for me.
Thanks for the info on this class. I’ve been on-the-fence about purchasing a new GPS… updating my Oregon300 and I cannot decide what to buy. I’ve been reading reviews, would like to switch to Magellan Explorist mainly because of the 10,000 caches it can hold but I just don’t know if I can adjust to Magellan after 2 Garmins.
Clowns indeed! Sounds like a fun adventure. I’ll have to check where is the series located?
Congratulations on your 2K Nurse Pat. I remember meeting you several years ago at West Bend Bash (with Lost Mom family)… and walking along the river finding a few more caches before heading for home 🙂
Thanks for sharing the info …I wondered why Rick had archived many of the Washara-area caches… though it has been a while since I’ve cached in that area since my Mom had moved back to SE WI.
The stars were missing a couple of days ago… I’ve logged in since then and there they were.
Congratulations! I like marking a milestone while on vacation… it keeps the memories of the time spent fresh!
Good to hear the picnic is close to home at Pike Lake… and this year no family wedding to prevent me from attending!
Nice idea. Congratulations to newly engaged couple!
I like the idea of night caching… I’m in.
And yes I’ve seen and heard the fireworks… though never actually went over to the park. Harder to see these days… we have 2 huge maple trees blocking the view.
Sooo… that’s the best time to do the Harley cache! This sounds like an interesting venture… are you considering a nighttime adventure in the city again? BTW I live in Washington Heights… a stone’s throw away from the park.
I’ve had some new caches on the HAST trail migrate in the GZ area… haven’t had a chance to check on the caches yet though based on the logs and 1 or 2 DNFs I know they’ve been carelessly replaced. I guess it sometimes happens. I’ll be taking a walk soon to recheck the placements.
Wow… #2600. Congratulations! Imagine how quickly you’ll be hitting the milestones when the kids get a bit older.
Congratulations on #1200!
