I’m not in Racine area… (in Milwaukee)… though I do know some of the regulars to the coffee group include: StarWarsGuy and tom k.
And Welcome to/back to geocaching. (Great way for kids to get outdoors)… my 3 grandsons (age 7, 5, and 3) love finding treasures!
Nothing wrong with png hides… as long as they are well maintained by the CO. Through experience I’ve found that some are not maintained whether they are a png or a micro or a regular hide… but most COs do check on cache if notified.
Always want to head down to Racine on Saturday mornings… tho’ never seem to get there but once or twice a year. Thanks for the open invitation…again!
Thanks for the heads up about the cache location… I often thought there should be a cache at this site. I’ll have to grab this one soon.
As for the info about the goal post property… perhaps the editor of the Bay View Compass can help with the info. Her name is Katherine Keller ( a friend of mine, tho’ she doesn’t know me as GrannyGoesAlong 😉 You could email her at [email protected]
If you mention me to Katherine in the email, just tell her Joyce from Washington Heights suggested you connect with her.Are you referring to the house with the car half buried in the front yard? That property is on S Lake Drive… I used to pass it on my way to Kelly senior center when I was still working.
Congrats to the new members of the WGA board! Looking forward to a great year.
Wow… what a great place to celebrate #10,000. Congrats!
I agree with AstroD-Team… some of us cachers still want to be part of the game but do not have the ability to do more difficult rated terrains. I mostly have to limit myself to 2.5 because of my rheumatoid arthritis. I keep my hike to 1 mile or less and welcome the park & grab micros.
Cute. I was sure the “twins” icon represented Hack1of2… indicating they’d visited the cache 😉
Congratulations on #2500… liked the sign!
Great location for the event! Plenty of trails to do some snowshoeing.
Great way to celebrate milestone 2000. Congrats to Kim and John. Loved the grass skirts!
Congrats Mr G and Sunshine on the milestone and trip “west”. Funky photo taken by Kim? Nice there is a silo nearby 😉
WOW… that’s passion! Getting out there even on the soggy and freezing days. Congrats Hack 1 of 2.
Congrats jpleva… sounds like it was a fun adventure for all who joined you to reach the milestone.
