04/22/2007 at 2:15 am in reply to: A certain Packer fan is celebrating a milestone birthday … #1873351
For those who need to know….the milestone is that I celebrated my 30th birthday this week. I’ve started hiking up the hill now. I’ll be over the top in ten years.
Just saw the video. You did a great job Brian and didn’t look one bit nervous. I noticed that one of the hosts (Molly Fay) mentioned that her husband has taken their kids out geocaching. Any idea on what their gc.com handle is?
The FOX 6 July geocache is now posted online. Go figure….it’s a puzzle/mystery cache!
I just watched the feature story on the EnergySaver family on FOX 6 about hiding geocaches. Vince did a great job as usual.

Ha! Too funny! And when I get my new Saturn this summer, I can now say that the cache I found is “In Plain VUE”
HERE IT IS…The May FOX 6 geocache

Our second cache of “Caching With Condella” is in place and ready to find. Here are the coordinates:N 42 degrees, 51.909 minutes
W 088 degrees, 20.972 minutes
This cache is located in a village park in Waukesha County. It is an ammo box.
Here are some hints. Each one is encrypted in case you don’t want to see them all. And each successive hint gives away more of the location. The decryption code is located below.
Hint #1: Gur Ovt Orne Yvirf Urer
Hint #2: Nqhygf pna cynl urer gbb
Hint #3: Gur Genvy Yrnqf Gb Cunagbzf
Hint #4: Haqre Gur Puevfgznf Gerr
They’ve been advertising the spot as Caching with Condella, featuring FOX 6 weather guy Vince Condella. I wonder if he has a geocaching name. Can’t wait to see the feature story.
YES it is confirmed! The 100th FTF was at River Bender: The Sequel in Racine. I’ve been waiting for awhile for this milestone to happen, but Hugh Foundit has been giving Uncle_Fun some great FTF competition. Congrats Dave on your 100th FTF. I can now finally release the travel bug I’ve dedicated in your honor.

Great job Diane! Congrats on your 3000th. Cache on!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!…..from one of your Cabin 11 mates. Can’t wait to see the pictures!
I just held an event on a Sunday afternoon/evening (An XL Geocaching Event). Not too bad of a showing for that time/day of the week (27 people) and it was very manageable.
LAST CHANCE…If you are still planning on attending this event, please post your note by Saturday morning, as I will be getting food for the event on Saturday afternoon. I want to make sure I’ll have enough food for everyone who plans on attending. If you have not sent in your registration form, please bring it with you to the event on Sunday.

Bump back to the top….
Just a reminder, if you plan on attending the XL Geocaching event, that you post your will attend note by Thursday evening, so I can get a count for food and beverages for the event on Sunday. Also, please send in your registration forms ASAP.

You’re probably going to see Johnny Cache & the Cache Crusaders. Fox 6 was following them around at the Waukesha Janboree event two weekends ago.
