Coordinates for the temporary caches were marked over the weekend for the XL event. So far, only 20 people have shown interest in this event as shown by the will attend notes, and registrations have been received for 11 people. A reminder that the event is this coming Sunday, Feb. 5th.
If you plan on attending this event, please post your will attend note and send in your registration form ASAP (post note by Thurs. night at the latest), so I can have an accurate head count for food and beverages. If you sign up after that, I may not have enough for everyone. Thanks for your interest.

Dumb question here…but do we pay via credit card on the form only or can we pay cash in person????
You can do either. If you want to fax the form, you need to pay by credit card. Otherwise, mail a check with the form.

This event is only one week away (next Sunday). If you are planning on attending, please post your “will attend” note by Thurs., Feb. 2nd at the latest, so I can have enough food for people. If you have not turned in your registration form, please do that also.
I just bought one of Garmin’s new products, but not a hand-held GPS. Since I travel quite a bit during the spring and summer, I purchased the new StreetPilot 7500 for the cachemobile. It’ll also come with traffic, weather, and XM Satellite Radio on it. I got it at a great discount too (saved about $700 from retail value w/the antenna).
I mainly got it for the new cachemobile I plan on getting this summer, but wanted to get the StreetPilot now to learn how to use. It’s supposed to ship next week. I can’t wait!

An XL Geocaching Event is scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday…February 5th. A Super Bowl party geocaching style!

Congrats Renee on your 3000th. Such a milestone to reach that she played hookie from work the next day to cache some more. Way to use those vacation days! So, when is that foot going to heal? Aren’t you supposed to be resting it? Again, congrats!

Dang…BQ beat me to the announcement! Congrats Dave on your 2000th find in Door County. Uncle_Fun’s 100th FTF is also coming up soon, which I have a special TB in his honor when he reaches that milestone.
Welcome to the millennium club, and thanks for making the All-A-Glow event your 1000th find!
Get your rear in gear and start caching!
I just ordered mine! Can’t wait to get them!
All I have to say is one word for their milestone…..IMPRESSIVE!
Congrats on making the final cut for the book! The book ought to make it on some wish lists for Christmas this year.
Great job Danny! Congrats on joining the rest of us in the four digit club.
Event page is now up and running…
