Yes, Tami. Uncle Fun and I were crazy enough to do your Rainbow drop series in the heavy sleet in West Bend this afternoon with the flucuating terrain. Man, I’m glad we were able to finish it.

WOW! Didn’t you just get your 700th? Congrats on your 800th and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts. Hope your Gander Mtn. gift card you won from me at the last event came in handy.

It was a pleasure being with you for your 900th milestone during our Rockford area cachefest yesterday. We’ll have to have a huge celebration for your 1000th. Hope to have you and the boys around for my 600th coming up very shortly.

Hey, post it as an event cache, and I’m sure you’ll get some takers. What a way to add to your cache count!

Thanks to everyone who have shown their support, given words of encouragement, sent e-mails, and voted for me on a daily basis. Unfortunately, looks like I came up short with the votes. The honors went to Dorothy Hanke from Milwaukee. It was a pleasure to meet her and the other finalists this morning at the Packers press conference. And the best part of it all was I got to walk onto the field afterwards. They don’t let you do that on the stadium tours. My students at school seemed disappointed with the news, but it was a great experience and I’m proud to at least make it as a finalist.

If I won, I would have been able to go to the Packers-Jaguars game this weekend. The good thing about not going is I don’t have to freeze off my tail as it’s supposed to be in single digits at game time.

I will try this contest again next year with my students. It may become a yearly thing until I get in.

Well, I learn my fate about the Fan Hall of Fame on Friday morning at 9:30. I’ll be sitting at the Packers press conference. Wish me luck! Wear your good luck charms, they might help.

Hey Uncle Fun…how did you sucked into spending all day with the ladies??!! I could’ve had you deliver a prize to Bushwacking Queen she won at my last event. Anyhow, congrats on your 800th. Looking forward to our caching outing after the holidays.

As I write this, there’s less than 2 1/2 hours left to vote. Last chance folks! Remember, for making your vote, you get entered into a drawing for a trip to a Packer road game next season. http://www.mkemarketplace.com/fanhof/2004/nomineeseavert.asp

I got my official invitation to the Packers press conference next Friday. I can’t wait to go!

Only one day left to vote. C’mon, let’s pull this off! Voting ends at midnight Friday. Thanks to everyone who has voted for me. The winner will be announced at a Packers press conference on December 17th. Gosh, that’ll be a looooooong week of waiting for me.

Well, looks like people had a good time caching, although the game really stunk.

Those who stayed for the Packer party got some TV time. CBS 58 in Milwaukee came to do a story on me being a finalist for the Packers Fan Hall of Fame, as well as get footage of the Packer Bash. Looks like Uncle Fun, Corbor, James Bond Jr., and Trudy & The Beast can watch themselves on the 10:00 news tonight.

    Hi T&Tb-
The door prizes listed in red on the cache page will only be given away during the Packer game. However, I do have some other door prizes for the caching portion, so don’t worry, you still have a chance to win something.

    RangerBoy-
Thanks for reminding me about that. At least it was a nice day out to go for a ride. Say, by the way, you wouldn’t have any tickets for the Vikings/Packers game on Christmas Eve? I plan on going but I need to buy a ticket yet.

Thanks everyone for your support. Remember, you can vote once a day online per e-mail address.

It feels like I am starting to become a celebrity. I will be the cover story in this Thursday’s CNI Newspapers in the Milwaukee area (Greenfield Observer & Hales Corners Village Hub). Channel 12 in Milwaukee also showed up today to do a news segment that will air on the Sunday night 10:00 news.

I also have a radio interview with FM106 in Milwaukee (will update with when it will air), plus a reporter from the Milwaukee Journal would like an interview with me.

Geez, I’m going to need an agent pretty soon!

Thanks everyone for your support. I am so excited to be named one of the finalists. I’m very proud of what my students are doing for me in this honor. Voting goes through December 10th. Make it a daily habit to vote for a finalist. The more votes, the better. I mean c’mon, you have a chance to win a road trip to a Packers away game next season.

One thing I discovered on a ballot today that I picked up that’s not mentioned on the online voting form or the ballot in Friday’s Journal, you have to be 18 or older to vote for a finalist.

An injury!! Had to get the details on that one from Uncle Fun’s kid (Corbor) at school. Anyway, congratulations on your 700th. It’s always great to cache with you.
