Please help move our TB’s along if you pick them up along the way. Don’t forget to attach photos to the travel bug page. My students will appreciate you. Thanks for your assistance.

Great job Lost Boyscout! Way to go on your 600th. Too bad I couldn’t be with you guys on your cachefest to help celebrate as I was coming back from an event in Michigan. Here’s to many more milestones!

Yes, I was not expecting to find Auntienae and TamCo hiding in the woods while taking my students on a geocaching lesson today. How did they know we were going to be there? Several kids called out that there were people in the woods and one of my students told me there were two ladies laying next to each other in the woods. After discovering it was Auntienae and TamCo, I had to explain to the kids and bailed those two out. I also had to explain that this is not how a normal geocaching find ends up to be, since it was the kids’ first experience. I ended up introducing the two ladies to the kids.

Just to clarify, it was the TB in Washington state that was released, so that’s why they came out to see if they could grab our bug even though I didn’t drop it on the cache page yet. The bug didn’t fit in the cache anyhow, so I asked them to take it with them since they were there.

My students also found a TV/VCR set stashed in the woods too, so we carried that back to school. Talk about CITO! I would have to say that next to the thong guy I came across in Green Bay, this was the second most interesting experience I had while geocaching.

At least our school travel bug is now on its way out west. We’ll be keeping an eye on it. Watch for our other TB’s to be released within the next week or two.

The mystery has been solved with the TB. It never went missing. The person who picked it up from jthorson’s cache logged it a few days later after picking it up. Today, it was dropped off in Dog Day Afternoon in Brookfield.

I love this station! I haven’t turned it off since they switched over on Monday morning. I signed up for their loyal listeners club the day the website went up. I also have a friend who works for the promotions department at the station.

Maybe that’s their BIG announcement for Monday at 7am…Houseofbrew will have his own morning show! HA!

Update on the Green & Gold Cache-n-Bash…

The event is being rescheduled due to the community Packer party moving to a later date. The Rec. Dept. did not sell enough tickets to hold the bash in the short amount of time we had to promote the event.

The new date for the event is Sunday, December 5th when the Pack play the Philadelphia Eagles. Cachers welcome to come for caching, and purchase a ticket for the bash if you would like to stay for the game. Packers and anti-Eagles fans welcome. If you posted a note for the original date for the event, it has been deleted. If you would like to attend the Dec. 5th event, please post another note.

Our other event, the night caching for October 23rd is still on as scheduled. Looking forward to those attending.

Congrats! Wow, I can’t keep up anymore. Ecorangers are moving so fast that their 1100th and 1200th congrats messages are still on this board! Keep it up!

Great job Danny! Haven’t seen you in awhile. Congrats on 500 finds. I know it’s a huge milestone. Hope to catch up with you someday.

Drats! Cathunter took mine. I’ve noticed that name recently myself. Left me scratching my head wondering what it means.

Anyhow, I had a family in my geocaching class this summer. They decided to have their geocaching names be “Old” and “Decrepit”. And they’ve been pounding out quite a few caches since then, especially the State of Mind series. Keep it up guys!

Oh no! Looks like I’ll have to do some checking on my TB. I checked my e-mail today and didn’t receive any from cachers reporting it missing. One of my Hwy. 100 TB’s went MIA awhile back and I made a new TB tag for it. If I have to, I’ll make another TB tag for this one later this week. While I’m at it, I’ll check on the waypoints for the cache too.

300th cache on a milestone birthday?! Makes me wonder if any “hills” were involved. Perhaps TamCo had to go “over” one to get to that cache. Congratulations!

Great job on the photo editing. Someone must have way too much time on their hands. Too funny!
