I love cemeteries — do not even need a cache there for me to visit. As long as the container is away from folks’ resting places, I like to find the caches too. But I will spend time just looking around (maybe I’m shopping?)
Always keep in mind though — cemeteries are private property of someone, not a public park. Respect is foremost.

Stay tuned for an update coming at the picnic!

Doesn’t urine help with pain…..?
Maybe that’s just jellyfish.
Not a fun cache day for you. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Thanks for posting the warning.

I’ve gotten nearly the same feedback when I send out that template on caches. Difficulty and terrain rating are subjective, so it’s hard to pin down what it means for each person. In fact, I typically get the same response when I make suggestions to up the terrain rating on caches that require the use of a boat. I continue to send out the notes, but they are largely ignored.
What I’ve found much more effective it an email(s) from cache finders who have done the cache and feel that the difficulty or terrain are off.

So I’m still researching this. I see that sharks leave a crescent shaped bite. By any chance, were you….oh never mind. I’m just being stupid.
Hope this gets figured out!! I’m intrigued!

Lapham Peak is a state park. You will need a sticker or pass to be there (unless you park somewhere else and walk in, I guess). I know they have 1 day passes, but I’m not sure if they have 2-day ones. You can buy an annual sticker too — but not sure if it’s worth it this late in the year.

Hi! Great to have you here!!

Saw Mom and the babies again tonight. Apparently they like to go to this particular field. But it’s just as cool seeing them a second time.
I bought a book on white deer over the weekend. I am learning lots. I thought that white deer and albino deer were different, but no — they are all albinos (I’m the only one this is news to, I’m sure). But not all have red eyes — many have green eyes.
Also, hearing is not affected, but possibly vision is. It’s sort of hard to get them to take an eye test though…
And I still didn’t have my camera along!!!

Hello and welcome!! If you can get a ride, come to our annual picnic on September 13 at Lapham Peak. We’d love to have you!

Oh, I’ll most certainly be drunk. I’m much more family-friendly that way. How else do you think I get through the 5pm meeting?
😆
BecHi and welcome! Very cute avatar!

We did adopt a segment of highway in the northeastern part of the state. Plans for a highway pick up event were in the works, but were put on hold for various reasons. At present, we have not had great success in making contact with our previous contact person.
The subject isn’t dead, just sorta….comatose at the moment. Hopefully, we can make some progress here.

UW-Madison is currently reviewing all of the caches on campus. Hold off on any placement (even the earth variety) until they get all their plans in place.
