    😆

    And you might be correct……

    or maybe not……

But I appreciate the cyber stalking anyway!!

I definitely picked a neuter geocaching name for myself. You’d be surprised by the number of people who initially assume that I am male.

I actually used to think hoppe2findyou was a male or team geocaching name. But I can see where it would be a “problematic” name. Best wishes with your new name!

I wish I could remember exactly what I wrote. It wasn’t much different that what you wrote. I basically said thank you to the troops past present and future for the sacrifices they make and have made. But The reviewer empathized with me but said he couldn’t publish it. So I dumbed it down to basically nothing so that it would get published.

And I really appreciated that you didn’t get mad at me over it. I really do empathize with tribute type caches and wish they were publishable — I just gotta go by the rules. Some people get very upset about this (again, I understand, there’s just nothing I can do, unless you want to take it to the good folks at groundspeak of course).

And I just like to giggle when people refer to WGA3 as “he” — makes my other identity seem almost secret!

Oh, and God bless you all!

Weather was too cruddy (muggy and stormy looking) for me to get on my bike (boo!)

    I’m such a wimp.

Yeah — that most likely will help. Sounds like work though…. 😆

Just now hoping it’s not too muggy when I get done with work.

    Thank you!

Please keep in mind that a winner has not yet been chosen. Information has been gathered as to what the membership prefers, and from there the board will further decide. Professional “help” has been discussed.

in reply to: Doh!!! so thats how they get so many FTFs… #1891528

I’m not allowed to get FTFs anymore. Really takes the pressure off. It was a fun thing to do in the past though.

Thoughts, prayers and hugs from me! Get better as soon as you can — no need to rush though!

Thanks! I just have to actually log my caches though. Why does darn life always get in the way of fun stuff?

Try the local university or tech school. They may have units available. Or the parks department.

Apparently there was a tornado in Fort Atkinson. So me and the pets went to the basement. That’s not a transportation issue for three cats and a small terrier. Carrying a 60 pound greyhound down (and later up) stairs is not fun. But I did some laundry and made sure my sump pump was working.

Glad you made it through Bec. Was there really a tornado in Fort Atkinson, or just a reported one?

I rode through one tornado warning with really strong winds and pea sized hail (I did stop along the side of the road for a couple minutes when it got really bad), but pulled off in Jefferson when I heard the sirens blaring there. I saw what appeared to be a funnel cloud with obvious rotation while waiting it out under a picnic shelter during the second tornado warning. Later I heard about the reported tornado in Fort and figured they might be the same?

I believe that might have been the same one. Not sure if it did any damage. Usually Fort Atkinson is pretty lucky. A few years back we had one go through and knock down a bunch of trees just a couple blocks from me. From what I’ve heard, this one was on the edge of town.
