Anyone can join the WGA. You can live on the moon even. The only difference is that WGA members from Wisconsin get the WGA Member forum title, and WGA members from outside Wisconsin get the WGA Friend forum title. I think that is the only difference.

Right next to that cache is a “business” called Delany’s. Some may call is a junkyard. I call it a treasure trove of caching possibilities. Seriously, you can stock up on caching trinkets, purchase ammo boxes, and see all sorts of interesting things.

The cache owners openly note that they have created liar’s caches. I have no doubt that this is also one. But I’d still like to see this location.

I must have changed the subject simultaneously Bec… guess we both have nothing better to do than monitor these forums. 🙂
I think you might be right.

There actually have been some conversations (not mine) about bringing MWGB to Wisconsin, so the possibility is there folks!

I would love to adopt Devil’s Tea Table, but it is a bit far from me. Hopefully someone closer can help you on this (but let me know if no one is able to help you out with this one, as I don’t want it to go away.)

I’m looking for a cheap PDA that will be able to be used for caching…if someone has an extra one laying around please let me know…..
I do. I actually have 2, but only one works on a regular basis.

I was quite happy with Plucker for quite some time (it’s free, and I just liked saying the name). But then I discovered the wonder and beauty that is Cachemate, and I quickly deleted the Plucker.
Both are similar, if you just want cache information at your fingertips, but Cachemate is really much easier to use, and has a lot more to offer!

Now that I have been looking at the webpage, this really looks like fun. I didn’t get to camp nearly as much as I need to last year (yes, it’s a psychological need) so this may help!

When I was still very new to geocaching, Cachew offered to help me find a cache that was causing me fits. I agreed to meet him at an empty park, having never met him before. Didn’t take me long to find out what a great person and friend he is, and we ended up spending most of the day together hunting downs some caches. I learned so much from him, and he seemed to tolerate me pretty well (and I’m stranger than most!)

Although the entire series would have been available for voting had the series owners not alerted me to the fact that not all of the caches were in the state — I was asleep at the wheel perhaps 😆 (Thanks Cinema Boxers for pointing it out!)

I love doing creative containers, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to last as long as I would like. Although one walked away, so I assume it’s doing okay. The other seemed to attract a lot of animals and had to be replaced:

Didn’t greyhounder actually come in 7th? You two could “share” the error coin or something.
I think mine will read greyhounder7

Just got word that there continues to be snafus with getting the coins from overseas (earthquake or something). Coins may not arrive to The Caching Place until later in the week.

The latest email I received indicated that the Orient Express coins ordered before 12/11 will ship January 2-4. Post Offices are closed today in honor of President Ford.
If you ordered your coin after 12/11, it will ship on January 10.
I believe the Lizard and Toad coins are to be shipped around the 2nd as well (or rather, the 3rd).
