Isn’t it obvious here?

Thanks for all the photos — keep ’em coming! I’m also planning to use photos as a part of my class, so the more the merrier!

And I’d like to thank everyone who attended the picnic and made it a great time! Thanks to everyone who donated water and charcoal, and those who helped with cache pick-up! We really appreciated!
See you at the 2007 Campout!

My computer remembers previously typed information when filling in blanks, so I don’t have this problem.
Of course, I also have a Mac……… 😉

WGA events always have maps.

There used to be a linky on the old board, but I can’t find it. I just sent Jeremy and Tie home from our picnic booklet assembly. I’m sure Jeremy will point us to the link somewhere around here
Thanks for the file flusingrouse!

Gotcha covered (for the move, don’t know about the other)

Just a thought that popped in my head — the state can fine you for littering. If they were to come across a cache without a permit, could that possibly be considered littering? It’s easy enough to find out who placed the cache (even without a permit).

From the event page:
Registration for this event has been closed. Please contact the WGA secretary via email (secretary
wi geocaching com) with any last minute changes. I don’t think there’s a problem with people coming without registering. They just might not get the nifty booklet or a name tag.

Thanks much to both of you! I knew it had to be somewhere, I just wasn’t coming up with it quickly.

I’m sure I asked lots of stupid questions — too many to remember. I do remember a question from my mother that was too funny not to share (not a stupid question though). This was before she started caching with me, and I had dragged her along to a cache. She used to just sit in the car and wait for me. I must have taken a little longer to get back, because once I got in the car she asked, “are you sure you’re good at this?”
I remember that every time I find myself searching for longer than a couple minutes. It makes me smile!

Your GPS should work fine! I don’t think I’ve used an eMap, so I’d love to take a peek at it too!
Bec
Did you do a Locationless cache? They don’t show up in the listings, but are included in your total caches found.

The picnic is a great place to start geocaching. You don’t even have to have a GPS yet. And there will be lots of people there enthusiastic about the activity who are willing to answer any and all questions, as well as show you firsthand what it’s about.
Hope to see you there!
