I’m not planning on buying any groceries for the next week — I’ll just take it all home! 😆

My opinion — as long as you don’t always go and grab them, and give others a chance once in a while, it’s okay to revisit for bugs and coins.
I’ve not done it myself, but I have no problems, as long as you don’t log another find.

Have fun!

From the main gc.com page, I just went to the Track Travel Bugs link. On the next page, under Travel Bug Lookup, there is a link for Advanced Search. I just did a keyword search for keychain, and there it was!
I had to do that about a year ago when I found a travel bug without a tag too.

I have never seen the admission building “personed”, and I don’t think there is payment box on site. However, just across the road at the John Muir trails there is another admission building and there is almost always someone there happy to sell you a sticker.
Otherwise, the Ottawa Lake Campground (hwy ZZ) sells them (that’s where I got mine) or the Forest Headquarters (hwy 59). Perhaps the other campgrounds too, but I’m not sure.

To be honest, Grillzilla was Tie’s invention.
But, I’m happy to entertain!
Bec
We evaluated the grill today — heretofore named Grillzilla.
Looks like 60 pounds of charcoal will be a decent amount.

jthorsonIt was REALLY hot, but we got lots of caches hidden! You guys all rock!

Tomorrow looks to be a really hot day, with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening (I hope that means late afternoon).
I will bring along some water & a cooler of ice.
I’ll also have a bag of charcoal in the car, if anyone wants to try out the grill.
See you tomorrow!
Bec
It’ll probably be really hot (because it just is), so water may be our biggest need, and maybe coolers of ice.
I still don’t know anything about the grill & how much charcoal. I plan taking measurements this Saturday….

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered!
Would love to have a few more volunteers too.

I mean more of a data cable, for transferring waypoints from the computer to your GPSr.
But don’t worry about it — we can look at it when you get to the picnic. Usually, someone has the right cable, and with the fabulous new Eggplant Powered Ammo Box from TS, we’ve got many cables right on hand.
Tie, do you know about the Lowrance models and uploading (as you are our resident waypoint upload guru)?
Worst case scenario, you have to enter coordinates by hand — good finger exercise!
Bec
Looks like possibly USB. Did it come with a cable?
Bec
For WGA events — all you really need is a cable to upload coordinates. I have no clue what type of cable the Lowrance uses though (USB, serial, 4 pin?)
