I have no clue if I voted or not. My vote never shows in red (or whatever) like it says it should.

Is there any sort of fix for this? I don’t want to vote twice. and so sometimes I don’t vote at all (only because I can’t remember if I voted before.)

    Deleting your own comments: okay

Deleting someome elese’s thoughts (i.e. the whole thread: don’t like that too much either

Deleting something someone else states is too much like censorship for my tastes (another reason I’m also not too keen on Uber-Moderation of forums).

I’ve missed out on some pretty interesting threads because they had been deleted, and then I just get to hear about them from others.

I like to hear everyone’s opinion — good, bad and downright silly. I like debates, and threads that get the blood boiling. There is plenty to be learned about communication there. Plus, sometimes the best ideas come out of this.

My family is that of big (and sometimes loud) debaters. It’s just what we do. There’s no taking back a discussion that goes horribly wrong. But also in my family, once it’s out there we get over it. You made me mad, but I have respect for your right to be mad. Can’t delete it, but maybe we can learn from it.

    Do I (ever) make sense?

I think of myself of a habitual user of geocaching. I like the way it makes me feel, and want that same experience the next time I geocache. If I go too long without a geocache I get anxious and moody. I look forward to my next geocache, and sometimes other things in my life get left behind.

Last summer I went through a period where I just wasn’t geocaching that much. It was mostly the heat, but my leg injury didn’t help either. You could say I went cold turkey. It was tough at first, but I realized that there were things to do that didn’t involve geocaching. A geocache now and then was okay…

But before I knew it, I was geocaching again — stronger than ever. I know I was causing problems for others. My need to geocache was out of control and I was not fun to be around anymore.

Right now I’ve got in under control again. I can stop anytime I want to (right?)

I like being able to see where I rank amongst my fellow WI geocachers (knowing I will never be able to catch up to most of them!)

Hello, my name is Becky, and I am a MacAddict (great magazine,by the way….is it still published?)

My only problem is that it’s for OS 10.4 (Tiger). I’ve got OS 10.3.9 and am not that excited to drop $125 at this point. Although then I could use the Beta version of Google Earth for Mac too.

My options…buy the upgrade, or buy AirPort and a network card for my laptop. It’s gonna cost me either way.

It does happen at events. I don’t know that it’s a regular practice, but some people do it. If you’d rather it didn’t happen you can ammend your TB page to state this.
Some people think it’s acceptable– some don’t.

The boulder would probaby be a good reason, but I don’t think animal damage would work though.

Of course, now I’m really determined to actually hide one…

    That’s a good point!

You know, if you’ve got cracked ones, they are replaceable (I used to sell this stuff) because they are guaranteed not to break. I’ve had some in my freezer (as a test) for a year and a half. One empty, one with water (now ice) and even one with swag. So far, so good!
