I believe this is being handled very well by the teams of Gram&Gramps and sandlanders. But, if more help is needed, I’m sure they’ll let us know.
Thanks for the offer!

On my first cache I slid down an ice covered slope, doing the splits. Not significant, but I was a little sore from that.
My “favorite” injury” was when I bent over to look for a cache and got thwapped in the eye by a branch. Try explaining that you got a black eye from geocaching and have people believe you.

I would have thought that your experience with the snow while doing our geocac benchmark cache this winter would have been your “favorite injury”. Frostbit butt hurts!
I forgot that one! That was a good one too!!

Insence. I’ve found insence cones in some caches. Again, it’s the smell thing.
Box cutters. Seriously, I find these all the time. It’s a razor blade — granted a sometimes covered one — but still…
Saw blades — found these in 2 caches. Jigsaw blades, or something like that. Still sharp.
And although I think they are a cool trade item, I do question whether or not P-38 can opener things should be in caches.
And Play-do! It has a scent and can be messy when it gets hot.
A Windows based PC…
Ammo boxes…
Spare batteries…
Camo tape…

Do you have a tally of who and how many are placing?
As of this moment we have possibly 10 hides!

Bec, did you ever get our message about hiding one?
I don’t think so, but I have you down for one now!
For night cache hiders and seekers:
We’ll be using the Forest Management Trail. It extends north from the furthest parking lot near the Pavillion and meets with the Red Bird Trail North of the Pavillion along the Bluffs.
Those hiding night caches should report to me when you have arrived and are ready to hide your night cache to get your lighted number.
You can find your hiding spots along the Forest Management Trail. If you are going to be arriving really late, please let me know ASAP. We have a few spots marked we can give you in advance.
Report back at the shelter by about 6:30 PM with the final details of your cache:
-Name of cache
-Exact Co-ordinates of cache
-Number of cache (lighted number)
-Special Instructions
This will give us enough time to put together a “.GPX” file for download later that evening. The lighted numbers have a clip on them so that special instructions can be attached to the lighted number. Paper and markers will be available when you pick up your number.
At about 7:30PM we will begin doing downloads of coordinates for the night caches. Along with your coordinates, you will receive a ballot for night cache voting.
Then we wait for dusk (around 8:30PM) and night caching begins! Have a great time! While you are enjoying the night caches, pick out your favorite of the night. Indicate your preference on the ballot and be sure to bring it back to the night caching download area (there will be a fancy box). At the end of the night the votes will be tallied. The winners will be announced during our meeting on Saturday.
If time allows (quiet time begins at 11:00PM and all non-campers must be out of the park by this time as well), night cache placers can pick up their caches. Or you can wait until Saturday morning.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Stay tuned for more info on this — possibly this evening even…
I’m going! Camping, but I don’t believe we have a spot picked out yet….
Group meal would be fab!

It might have been a feral kitten — them suckers bite hard!!
But on a serious not — ouch. Glad you’re okay!
Bec
Yay!
Don’t forget — if you want to make me happy — a marshmallow must be somewhere on the shirt!
😀
BecI think you do it through your Paypal account….

Want my reviewer opinion? Well, as a reviewer, I just have to go along with the decision.
As a geocacher, I’m sort of sad to see the end of ALRs. Some of them were really great and a fun challenge.
