I spend more time when out looking at places and their potential for hides. I take time to enjoy things that I see and wonder if it’s something I could share with others.
I’m not as obsessive about rearranging my furniture in my house or do odd things to the landscaping (not as much, although I still have to rearrange the furniture on a regular basis).
My free weekends are no longer days to lounge around — I am out geocaching!
I seem to be sleeping better too — after a good day of hiking.
And I’m really working on my social skills!! Being sort of quiet & shy, meeting all you wonderful people have really made me feel welcome!

My take on the “official” WGA word is — do whatever you would like to do for events.
Myself, I’ve decided just to claim the one find (attended) for the event as of this November. Just a personal decision.
But I think our temporary hides are very good. If other geocachers could attend our events and see for themselves, I think many of their opinions of event temporaries would change drastically.

I drove from WI to Delaware, and got a few easy but good caches along the way. I would guess that our routes would be similar. I wasn’t in Maryland long enough to really find somewhere to stop, but I did get finds in PA, OH, and IN. Email me if you want to know what ones!

Excellent!! Congratulations on 1K!

No problem — I like to sublimate when doing homework!
I like doing research type stuff, just not so much when it’s boring school topics!
Bec
Well, that might explain why we haven’t seen you around too much! Congratulations to the both of you!! Hope to see you both at an event soon!

Finished up my presentation and more or less studied for tomorrow’s test — don’t have another presentation until next week, and final exam is a couple more weeks off, so I can do a little resarch on: distance between group sites, distances from potties & showers, if you’d all like. (again, I have no life.)
Love the idea of doing a little volunteer work at the campground during the campout!
