My family’s now booked. Site 096. Would have loved to get an electric site but at least the battery will give me lights and this one’s near drinking water and a bathroom so that’s cool.
Hopefully the quarter barrels and hand guns will be on the other side of the family sites that weekend! 🙂
I can’t vouch for the handguns, But the Quarter barrel will be directly between Zuma and I.
Until I roll it into my tent…
Hmmm…for starters, if not for geocaching I would not be 110 pounds lighter (not that I lost all that weight through geocaching, but geocaching spurred my desire to be more healthy and someday be fit). Before I started geocaching I stayed home a lot. I had just purchased a Nintendo GameCube and would have become just a gamer, I’m sure. I honestly only used the cube a few times and now it sits, dusty, in the closet. I also think I’m more social from geocaching — I’m sort of introverted. I definitely have more friends through geocaching.

Very pretty and very interesting!
If you don’t mind, I’d love to include this in my presentation….?

I sort of need a bit of a get-away and have been thinking of heading to this event. Depending on goings-on around in my world, and if I can find somewhere to stay, I might be interested in coming along (if that would be ok).

In order for you to adopt a cache, the cache owner must start the ball rolling. If said owner is not available, basically all you can do is post a SBA note and get the process rolling for archival. Once the listing is archived then you can put a new cache in the exact same location (can use the same name even).
Here’s geocaching.com’s knowledgebase info on this:

Welcome!
My only advice is to have lots of fun, and keep in touch!

The name of the person sending the PM is in the email message subject, so you can’t send someone a PM then delete it to virtually and anonymously mess with someone. 🙂
Awe….now how am I supposed to mess with Greyhounder?
Bless you Jeremy. Lostby7 was slowly driving me insane….
The folks at MWGB have been approached about bringing the event to Wisconsin. They didn’t say no, so maybe someday….I even know a place that would love to be the venue.

Interestingly, I glanced at the latest Consumer Reports magazine today and it rated the top GPS Nav units. No Magellan units were listed. There was one I hadn’t heard of (and consequently have forgotten). The others were all Nuvis and TomToms. I think the 200 was lower on the list, but still was rated 60-ish out of 100. I don’t recall any other info as I only spent a minute or two looking at the data.
I’m thinking of picking up a few 200s come Friday (one for me, the rest for gifts)

Bec,
My understanding is that you are picking up a new laptop, not a GPS. Now, write it down so you don’t forget.
😆 As long as I can get a $300 one, yes. I plan on being there at 5am.
