        I might bring along my bike (if it fits!) but I’m pretty unfamiliar with it. I can make it work, obviously, but I don’t fully understand mountain bike type vehicles. Would someone be able to assist me in the finer points (if time allows)? It’s a Trek something or other that I won in a raffle a few years back. I’ve only ridden it a very few times. I can’t figure out the gearing at all, and it just seems to be a little on the tall side (not sure if it’s a adjustable — it’s a men’s bike, so that bar is foreign to me.)

        But I thought it would be handy getting me to and from the showers. I don’t know about hauling camping gear on it though….

            I just got the same phone. I’m worried that I’m going to lose it as well…with my luck.

            Hope it turns up for you! I’ve heard that some people go back to the area they think thye might have lost it at and try calling it with another cell phone, and listen for the ring.

            My A660 has an amazing battery life, so you might still be able to get it….

              I’m sorry, I’m just stupid, but what the heck do you mean by repeater? Does it have something to do with eating cucumbers?

              I have an FRS radio, and have no problems with channel 7. Just can’t figure out what you mean by a repeater….

                Got mine a couple weeks ago. It was pretty cool how I got it too. I was sitting in the parking lot at Aztalan State Park, starting to fill out the form to send for my sticker, when a ranger (a cute one too!) pulled up in his truck with a hand full of stickers! Life is good!

                    I haven’t really camped since I was a youngster (and a couple times in my 20s), so this is a great thread for me! I have to buy everything needed for the trip, so the more suggestions, the better!

                    One question (well, the first of many…) are there shower facilities? Go ahead and laugh. I’m not sure how well I’ll survive the weekend if there’s no shower!!!!

                        It went down not too long ago. I was checking some stuff and *poof* it was gone. Really annoying, since I need it for tomorrow’s caching!

                          I just purchased some Badger Balm — Anti Bug stuff. It’s got all sorts of natural stuff in it….citronella oil, patchouli, lemongrass, castor oil…..we’ll see how that works out.

                              I’m glad that you’ve had some good luck with your cache! That’s one of my concerns in placing my first — I don’t mind if someone stumbles upon it and plays by the rules. I would be very sad if it was taken though. Your post gives me some reassurance!

                                  I have found a FTF award for my cache — it’s sort of silly and cheesy, but it makes me smile. Plus, the FTF gets the chance to select from a fabulous assortment of items I am putting in the cache!!
