I also can’t bypass the 403 forbidden screen.
These songs were posted a while back in this forum. You can find the link HERE
My only complaint with the .prc files is that I haven’t been able to perform a keyword search to locate a specific cache.
I have about 500 .loc files loaded in my gps with the corresponding prc files in the palm. I may be traveling and see a nearby waypoint on my gps. The cache is labled with a GC.com waypoint name, which appears on the gps screen.
I would like to be able to use the PDA’s search feature to locate that cache. For example, if the gps shows waypoint GC34AB is nearby, I would like to “search” for that cache on the PDA. Currently, if I type that waypoint name in the PDA, it never finds any files in the mobipocket reader.
I have several prc files sent to me every day. They are setup based on the closest to my zipcode. So, the farther away from home I am, the longer it takes to go through 1000 pages of data on the PDA.
I would be great if you could somehow search for the cache on the PDA by entering a keyword.
I havent used spinner yet, but plan to give it a try. From what I understand, spinner lets you break up the data to more customizable forms.
Is there something I’m missing here? Is there a way to do these searches?
Sound like you had good reception

I agree Steve – seems to slow up quite a bit. Many times, like tonight, I log a cache and it never shows on the WGA logs but shows on my geocaching.com page. Seems to be a glitch out there somewhere but not a fatal one.
The “Recent Logs” page on the WGA website is a different issue. Our Recent Logs page only updates itself a couple times per hour. I may take a while for your log to show up. During high activity, it’s possible for new logs to scroll off the page before they even appear.
I’ve also noticed the slow down on the GC.com site. It made if very difficuly to approve any new caches over the weekend. The site was just too bogged down with traffic.
I’m back in the saddle. Thank’s DustPuppy for helping out in my absence.
I never heard of the St Croix National Scenic Riverway until a cache was placed there about a month ago.
After researching the property and discovering it is adminstered by NPS, I had to archive the cache 🙁
We’ve all known that National Park Service lands have been off limits to caching for a long time.
I guess this is just a public statement indicating what we’ve pretty much, already known.
I Think 2 megs is a little on the low side.
I have a Sony Clie with 16 MB, and has expansion slot to hold a Sony Memory stick. I have a 16 MB memory stick in it, which gives me 32 mb total. I’m currently using about 8 megs of space with all my Geocaching stuff, and other programs.
I have a mono screen with suites the purpose. Battery life is very good. I recharge it once ever week or two. My friend has a Sony Clie with the Color screen. It is really, really nice. The only problem is that she gets a couple hours battery life before recharging, versus weeks of battery with mine.

Congrats! You are brave souls to brave the weather today. I hope the 50 mph winds and rain didn’t ruin the hunt for your mom. It can only get better from here
Doh!
I would absolutely love to go.
Unfortunately, I already have plans on this holiday weekend 🙁
Thanks a lot guys for all the hard work!
My hand finally stopped shaking and the nervious twitch seems to have gone away

Doh!
My schedule changed. I’m not available Sunday morning now. I am available any morning during the week though.
Sorry
I’d be willing to meet you there and give you a getting “warmer” – “colder” guidance to the cache. (if it’s still there)
If anyone else is interested in putting a nail in this coffin, we could all meet there at a certain date/time.
Ditto what Ken said.
Maybe the WGA should endorse a specific channel and encourage people to bring them while caching. I’d be willing to take mine along.

wicacher is a Geocaching.com admin and can approve, delete, edit cache pages.
