Unfortunely, the DNR has come up with crafty ways to prevent you from doing this. They place perforations on the sticker that rip when you pull. The county stickers are probably much the same. I think a hair dryer is your best chance, but I have never tried it. I transfered one back in 1987 when they made them nice and durable. I kept getting DNR people asking me if it was affixed with it’s own adhesive. It was, but just barely

    Keep’em

Keep them in your geocashing backpack. They could be a good survival item. You could use them to stop bleeding if you get a laceration while geocaching.

You can also remove the adhesive backing and stick them to your forehead. This would provide a protective layer of padding in case you bump into a branch while caching.

They could also be used as fire starters or odor eaters in the bottom of your shoes.

These are quite practical items and everyone should carry one with them in the woods.

    How are their prices?

    Aww, I liked the blinking.

I wonder what else could be used to bring attention to the vote toward the end of the month?

Perhaps make the font red for a few days.

Cookie related blinking message that would stop blinking once you vote?

    That works Jeremy!

    Thats what I’m looking for.

Now I may try to save most of the caches in the State and burn them onto a CD-Rom.

It could also give us offline viewing at the campout and picnic.

    Thanks

I tried doing the Thraxman method and I keep getting an error message on “Word”.

It wont let me save the info.

I would also like to know how to save cache pages on my laptop.

there are times when I dont have internet access and would like to be able to view the cache pages.

Ideally, one should be able to pull the pages up while connected to the internet, then view them later while off line. When using Explorer, I am able to view certain parts of the web pages, but other “loaded” items like photos and maps dont appear.

I’ve tried saving the whole page, but then it saves each item on the screen in a folder, and doesnt connect them all into the web page format.

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the enviromental impact of driving to caches as long as you’ve found under 100 caches.

Anything more than that, I would be SERIOUSLY concerned about the impact of geocaching vapors.

    Just my 2 cents

While seaching for the cache this morning,
I noticed that the harder it is to find a cache, the more enviromental impact is done.

This area looked like a flock of turkeys came though it, turning over every leaf in sight looking for food.

It was a tough one. I did some research last night and had an idea what to be looking for. Just couldnt find the clue.

Sam did a banner job repositioning the cache.

There is nothing wrong with that.

I try to keep track of the dates for the finds so I can log them correctly.

A lot of libraries have Internet access. If there is one nearby, you can find get caught up there.

Will the other banners still work on our pages if we modify them or create new ones?

Refering to the “placed by a member of WGA”
    etc

Yeah, yeah, yeah, rub it in Steve.

I was going to get that plaque tomorrow morning.

I had a place all picked out for it next to my computer

    Seriously, congratulations!

    Welcome aboard Lisa.

I was in Iowa 2 weeks ago, for about 15
    minutes

I drove to Iowa from Prairie du Chien to get gas, then drove back.

I took the plunge and paid for the charter membership.

I figured that $30 is well worth all the fun I have had geocaching the last year.

The only thing I don’t like is the automatic renewal. In otherwords, the money will be deducted w/o your knowledge unless you cancel first.

I have been meaning donate to J-man but never got around to it. I guess this is my donation.

Now…for all those wishing to become WGA charter members, just send me your credit card numbers and I will sign you up.

Initially, you will be able to post messages on this board. After a while, you will be allowed to post messages on this board

    Do her and leave her?

It would only be right for you to stop back today with a rose and let her know you care!

And bring your rubbers this time, we wouldnt want your nice shoes to get muddy again.
