What the message you are getting. also make sure that your gps sees the cache. also try a different gps cord. check the usb port it may not be working. try another one. also is one of the pins shorted out or broke

Ever think that given the distance from the satellites cloud cover gps signal interference that may it be your gps is getting the wrong data . thus saying its not their. but close to that point. and then to the cache owner is not giving a good location., to make things interesting and fun. but most of all one must look a little harder to record the find.

I recommend gortex boots they will keep your feet dry at all times even when the early am dew makes the grass wet. and they wear like iron. make sure they have the vi-brand soles for traction when needed. If you get leather ones along with mink oil I would rub them down with Vaseline it will make them soft. and well broke in .plus water proof them I would also go late in the day to get your new boots the reason is your feet are bigger during that time of the day. and it allows for your feet getting bigger and smaller. hope this helps. what I am looking for in my question would make a event a success being it a conference with a change to expand apron the knowledge base or a meet and greet. what would you do to make it a success. 😀

my thinking would be if their is a natural disaster with in the state . have a group help with the clean up of the area.{giving back} You would be doing a great service plus helping with clean up using the cache in cache out thinking. to perhaps find a destroyed or distressed cache some place. I also agree that on days of a major event meet and greet another time should be chosen.

its a personal thing if some one wishes to promote .We agree that some one living in this region knows best what logistics and promotions are needed .
If it was me what we would do is increase the size of WGA board making sure that persons living in this area would have input on the board. also if a event was or is going to be held .We would welcome persons living in that area be in on the success of the event. Using the resources at hand We would give this region a place to provide input. we would make contact with this region asking for their input. Most of all the questions would be asked what can or what can we do to be of assistance in promotion . At the same time saying these tools are here for you. Another idea would be to use the cache of the mouth to promote caches found in this region of Wisconsin . Most of all a plan would be created that would be workable visible do able that would shape the future as well

As the Wga grows . Members have expressed interest in dividing the state into areas or divisions for the purpose of holding events and to better service service the wishes of the members. As a member of the WGA board. How would you proceed to make this happen.

The most important qualification that I have to offer is problem solving. I have also gained through the strength of visions and the ability to perhaps make a difference. when needed as a leader or a follower keeping in mind the goal which has been set .

I to have reviewed the posts of the other candidates. And feel that a reply is for some one is a personal choice. That as a candidate it is in my best interest not to reply.to who is better and why One must choose on what each candidate has to offer when the voting is open then vote according based on the issue at hand Does this candidate have a problem solving solution One also has to consider that if elected some times its not what I think or feel but what is Best or what the members of the WGA .Based not on I would like to see. Board member are here to work for you the member. You have placed trust in board members to do the right thing . based on input of what you the members would like to happen. Question is what candidates would make the best mix based on what they have to ofter. You as a member must make that choice. Their is no right or wrong answer as who may be better.

I would like to see perhaps a annual conference that different topics related to geo caching would be presented . Set up a skill level recognition program. Set up a system that a catcher could call when heading out . To say I am going to be in this area.so someone could find you if you became missing or could call for some help if something when wrong . Which could be anything from a broken geo transportation unit. {BGTU} or a perhaps I am hurt send help. Set more educational opportunity related to the hobby. Set up a awards systems for mild stones . recognition for great catchers. But most of all follow thru on what the member ship would like to see .keeping in mind we are here for the members of the WGA. What kind of caches do I like
Some days Its big some times it is small . Some times It a quick find or first to find maybe a long walk Sometimes it may be a puzzle that needs to be solved only to find its . Or it may it may be the cache that was found last spring then again not until fall. as the last to find. or it may be the one that is needed to complete the trip to the final Which leaves us with the question . Is this today we will try to find many. Or do I try for the cache that has not found by so many Or the one with the view What size to I wish to find today. What challenge to I wish to do today. A new one a try again for the cache I did not find from some time ago . Or is it the one that will be fun or is it that we will find to have many memories those are caches I like best.

Greeting fellow catchers
The way that I would Promote the WGA would be involve more of the members. Perhaps have some type of online conference.or perhaps a real time link to a chat room with a link for the members to express what they would like to see .perhaps a link or a place for members to say Here is what I would like to see. At the meet and greets events that are held perhaps hand outs or a form that a Broad member or two would be their their to here the concerns . Divide the state into areas with Perhaps a board member the contact for that area. place a suggestion box at the events . That any member could place ideas in. When a area would have a event , meet and greet. a class mention is made their is a state group of geo catchers. As far as logistics for a idea their is a solution. that will will work , that would make a difference. as far as promoting geo caching . think about the skills that are needed computer, problem solving map reading . math . directions . planning when doing a big day of caching . Think to about what one sees when looking for a one one or five /five. and you report what you see as being not right. you have now promoted Geo caching. or ground zero is trashed and you pick up the area. you too promoted Geo caching

Try this obtain a copy of Delorme 8 or 9 Its got the tails marked along with the other stuff you are looking for . All you need to do then is put the lat long in and it will show where it is on the map.
