Trudy & the beast were spotted aboard the Sequest at Prince Rupert, BC, Canada doing some crabbing and tossing bait to the bald eagles following the boat. A flock of about 40-50 birds were snatching the bait as fast as it was tossed. The crabs cooperated and filled the traps in under an hour. Mmmm Dungenes crab cooked on the fantail dipped in garlic butter… Life is good.Shure seems to be a shame that some folks have to change their names to keep up with their friends. 🙄

let’s see…I have way too many…
1. pens without caps
2. dirty socks left in the living room
3. cupboard doors not being closed
4. any type of junk in the front yard that doesn’t belong there – which pretty much includes everything
5. closet doors left openThere’s way too many. I’ll stop now…
You must have a adolescent in the home 8)
Make sure that you key the search to a known geocache that should be returned in the query. I have found I get a null return when I key the search to my home coordinates. I also have difficulty when I set attributes, I now just leave those alone.

HB’s – not sure your projected path, but there is a a virtual at a neat little out of the way spot where ARK-LA-TEX borders meet up. I was there back a few years before I was caching, stood on the rock that marks it.
–My desk top at work is a photo of that marker and there is a photo hanging on my cubicle wall of the beast standing on that marker … like minds. 🙂

I don’t suppose there is a program out there that will automatically calculate the best route to hit all the caches in a list, is there? I’m thinking the Indiana Challange might be doable over a weekend.
Microsoft Streets and Trips works well for this task.
I am sorry that I need to write this under the guise of a sock puppet, it might be interpreted as hipocritical… [Most know who I am.. tb]
I have to say that I am proud of the attitudes expressed here. Every one of the responses shows a great understanding of perceptions of our activity. I believe that honest and friendly response will show us in the best light.
[And then I hid my remarks on page 2.]
I hear that there is a 2007 F150 with 8000 miles up for sale on EBAY. previous owner was a retired GB QB we cannot name…
Just outside of St Louis, (Edwardsville,IL) you can find Bully’s Smokehouse. They serve the 😀 BEST 😀 ribs I’ve had outside of the State of Texas.
I peeked 🙄 There will be a Nuvi under our tree this year. Our old C330 has been a great addition to our kit-bag, but the Nuvi promises so much more. 😀
Were you walking backwards for any part of the trek?

I don’t have much experience with the Nuvi’s except for playing with them while searching for one myself.
What I can say is that unless you’re using it for an MP3 player, or picture viewer, the only difference between the Nuvi’350 and the model I have (Garmin Street Pilot c330) is price and dimensions. The Nuvi is flat whereas the Street pilot looks like an old model TV set from the side. But the c330 runs only $175 new.
I can’t say enough about my street pilot. It works flawlessly, even through busy cities, and never loses signal. It loads fast, and even my 77 year old father could use it the first time he tried. (saying a lot for a man that’s had the clock on his VCR flashing 12:00 for 10 years!)
I havn’t had the opportunity to play with a Nuvi yet, but I understand they have a transreflective screen that shows brilliant color and contrast in the brightest of ambient light. My C330 does not and it can make it hard to read in midday sun.
My C330 was waiting for me to negotiate downtown Atlanta in peak rush hour traffic with the message “Lost Satelite.” For the most part, she is right there with the current position.
Give me the Ozark Mountains in March. Right around Texarkana would be fine. Check with Hotdogs off trail for caches that are must see in that area.
