Congratulates on 900! Wi Hibiscus brought me to that cache when I was in Appleton and it was a favorite. 1000 is just around the corner.

When I traveled out of the country I called AT&T and asked about roaming charges on my iPhone. They basically communicated that I would likely spend several hundred extra dollars for that week, so I kept it powered OFF the whole time. In hindsight I did not check into switching to an alternate plan (“international plan?”) for that month, so my suggestion would be to call AT&T or Verizon, whoever your carrier is, and ask for advice there.

Do we have to wear costumes when we look for this one.

Costumes? Wearing a tutu, a lumberjack helmut, a pirate outfit, or Jedi apparel are our normal clothes!

Remember to have a lost and found box near the cache.

It will come in handy for those that lose their mind 😉

I just saw the new cache posted. Yep, that’s a stereogram alright. Same results as the one in Ohio. Now I’m 0 for 2.

                If it’s a stereogram we may need a PAF… 😯 😯 😯

So is the geosphere app more for an iPod Touch and the groundspeak app more for the iPhone?

                        Here’s the ones that we have: 2005, 2007, & 2010. I’ve never seen the 2006 or 2008.

Is there a way yet where you can search by favorite points?

Sort of. You can do a search by typing in an address or zip code (not a pocket query), and when the results appear, click on the blue ribbon near the top of the page. That will sort them by most favorite votes to least votes.

Still being relatively new to the WGA forums, I don’t even know how to vote for a cache of the month. ❓ So I’m guessing there must be more people like me. Here’s what I did:

About 2 minutes ago, I clicked on cache of the month, followed by southeast zone July 2011. There are no caches listed. Not only that, but July 2011 isn’t even finished yet, so it seems like we should be voting for the June 2011 caches, but evidently that is not the case. Why should one vote for a July 2011 cache now when there’s two more weeks remaining in July for an even better one to be introduced.

As for series of the month, the 45-cache series called Star Wars was published June 26 in Waukesha county with much fanfare and rave reviews. It’s fantastic, and was launched with an event cache attended by over 115 cachers. I looked and it wasn’t listed for July. Then I figured out how to look in June and it wasn’t listed there either. So I guess I (and maybe others?) need a tutorial…

                              EasyGPS.

It’s what we use on the Oregon 450, Dakota 20, and GPSMAP62s.
