This could possibly be my last golf outing of the year. Fridays are usually golf days for me and some friends. If it’s 42 degrees or warmer, out we go. As of 8am today it’s 37 degrees, but it should warm up to 47 degrees by our 10:48 tee time.
With geocaching, on the other hand, any weather is suitable, whether 20 below or 120 above. I do have my priorities. “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.”

This is awesome. I see you swapped out my muskie tag for my original in January
Good catch! I was thinking for the next update I’d swap designs on almost all of them where two or more designs are available to choose from. Your original, BTW, is my favorite of all of yours.
October 2019 pathtag update. There are now 118 known WGA members past and present that have created at least one pathtag. Shown here is one pathtag from each of them (some have created many pathtag designs). Pathtags are trackable personal coins/swag similar to travel bugs that people trade or put in caches, except that when you find one you get to log it and keep it! 🙂

Gwyn, what have they added to Straight Lake SP? When we were there 3 or 4 years ago there was pretty much nothing man-made, other than a barely developed trail.
Page 1092 and a F T P. Or is it “an” FTP?
I’ve had the same barber since I was 14. He’s 5 years older than me.
Cool, our five Adventure Lab caches published today in Milwaukee. Players need to download Groundspeak’s Adventure Lab mobile app to see them. 🙂 🙂
Oh crap. We’re camping in Wyalusing SP beginning Friday, and it’s supposed to reach a high of 97 degrees.
OH! is this the FTP for page 1070?
Not the ONLY thing

And for all of that I’ll take the FTP!
What do you get when you FTF?
You find it first, with all the glory
That’s what you get, for all your worry
I’ll… never FTF again
What do you get when you FTF?
A find with a pin, to burst your bubble
That’s what you get for all your trouble
I’ll… never FTF again
Don’t tell me what it’s all about
‘Cause I’ve been there and I’ll shout it out
No phone-a-friends, no one to help you
That is why I’m here to remind you
What do you get when you FTF?
You search and search, it’s not at GZ
After your find, you’re thrilled, it’s easy!
I’ll… never FTF again
Dontcha know that I’ll never FTF again?
Don’t tell me what it’s all about
‘Cause I’ve been there and I’ll shout it out
No phone-a-friends, no one to help you
That is why I’m here to remind you
What do you get when you FTF?
You only get ticks and pain and sorrow
So for at least until tomorrow
I’ll… never FTF again
Dontcha know that I’ll… never FTF again
(Sung to the tune of “I’ll never fall in Love Again”)
Dang. I had posted a reply a few days ago about oldies, then edited it right away because of a misspelled word, and when I clicked “submit” it disappeared, including my original post. I was hoping it would reappear if I refreshed the page, but I see it’s missing still. I don’t even recall what I had said, but I’m sure it must have been brilliant. 🙂
Thanks Jim! I see that although Lakeview Park is relatively small, the Chequamegon-Nicolet Forest and the Mondeax Hardwoods State Natural Area are only 9 miles away, not to mention a segment the Ice Age Trail. Plus there’s the picnic itself!
I was surprised to see that we actually already found at cache at Rib Lake. We got it when passing through a few years ago. Word.
June 2019 update. With several people recently creating their very first pathtag, we’re now up to 112 known Wisconsin-based geocachers that have created a pathtag, past and present. Shown here is one from each of them. Can you think of any other Wisconsin geocachers or geocaching teams missing from the list?
