Thanks for the kudos. It took us 8 months to get to 500, we’ll see how long to reach 1,000 or beyond. Since we live just outside of Milwaukee we don’t have very far to go, but prefer the more rural caches. As for the step stool that Kim brought, ahem, I protested and wined about it but there’s no stopping her. At least it was lightweight and I didn’t have to carry it – that would be like holding her purse at the mall for the whole afternoon. But I must give credit where credit is due; she was the one to spot first all three finds today and let me tell you she was a caching machine! Here’s a spoiler picture of #500 that I wouldn’t want to post at the cache web page
http://sudar.smugmug.com/photos/1188990678_pHuoC-M.jpgSo far we’ve cached 92 days in a row but won’t be able to complete the dedicated cacher challenge GC266J4 until at least 2012 (because of Feb 29 in leap year). We’ve been reading up on the Lost Cache possibilities for the LCG and hope to get involved with them this year. Right now we’re primarily working on filling in the holes on our D/T grid. Oh and Mr Greenthumb I think I’ll turn those snowshoes back into tennis rackets 😉
Thanks again for the fun and the encouragement. What a great sport and what a great group of people we’ve stumbled into!

That was fantastic! 😀 I did a video similar to that entitled “Geocaching – The First Three Months” when I was a newbie but it is by far inferior to this wonderful video. You can bet I’m going to share this film with others!
Thanks for the advice. We solved the puzzle and made it through the waypoints on this very satisfying multi. GC1KJJ0 Hunt & Peck has been added to our favorites list. Thanks again!

Does anyone know what the most “favorite” cache in Wisconosin is? Hint: It has never won COTM.
Is there a way to search for caches by “popularity?”
