What say some of you to having a Geocaching holiday party just afterward? Maybe someone can recommend somewhere nearby? Bowling alleys often have cheap halls one can rent, and they’re a friendly, inviting kinda place for newbies, not to mention family-friendly while still offering some adult libations. Could that be considered December’s “breakfast”?

I too live in Sheboredom. I put in my responses. I found this city intolerable until i started caching (mostly in other communties).

Thanks for the hearty acknowledgements, everybody. I’m so sorry I couldn’t make the Milestone Event Cache–we’d had a long night the previous evening.

With winter coming on, I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up the fever pitch. So…time to turn my attentions to planning good caches and putting together some events to keep us all in touch. Fondy in a couple weeks, Manitowoc in January, Appleton in the spring sometime…I’d still like to do one in Osh Kosh sometime down the road. And Oconomowoc, too–that’ll be a good one. I’ve got the Fondy and Manty ones going; any volunteers for the others?
