Also, attributes are there for a reason and they are helpful. I do not always look at them ahead of time, but with a smartphone, I often look at them in the field.

Not everyone has a smartphone, 🙁 and the attributes are not on the Garmin.

I realize that – so my advice would be if look at them ahead of time or hang with someone who has a smartphone and be sure to cache only in areas where your friend gets coverage!

I don’t have time to look at the hundreds of attributes ahead of time when my friend sends me the PQ 3 seconds before we are leaving. (smack talk) 😆

but the ftf is like a getting candy when you where a little kid and thats a great feeling when your creeping up in the age.

Exactly! As we age, the need for candy gets less and less… but we still need one for the month of April, so save us a piece. 😉 😀

Another sign should be Caution Thin Ice….

😆 Did you really need a sign to let you know there was thin ice? 😆

All that matters is that the cache was found. 8)

The night of the lost flashlight Hitwoman? Did the Hitman ever forgive you?

I have been forgiven but it has not been forgotten.

Has Mr. Lacknothing ever forgiven you for coming home smelling from Wet Maze?

Quote from the Wet Maze log, by Lacknothing:
I learned today that deer are very smart and there was a reason there was not deer tracks in the direction I was moving the team. I would actually find out this reason in about 50 yards. Imagine my surprise when one minute I am walking on a frozen marsh and the very next second I am in marsh water up to my knees … and the stench – oh my – did that smell or what?! The girls were about 20 yards behind me and immediately smelled it. And how to get out of this cespool? Finally figured out I just needed to back up to get on solid ground. And that I did and the only thing truly damaged was my pride. Yes – the boots were wet (actually full of water) and my socks were soaked, but at least we now had a really good story that hopefully would measure up to CodeJunkie’s adventure (well maybe not quite that adventurous). We made it back out without further incident. Needless to say, I found the nearest deer tracks to follow since obviously deer know where not to tred in a marshy area in the middle of February.
    😆

[/b]All I can say is there should be signs at the roadside ditches by swamps that say Caution deep bogs!!!!

No disrespect intended and knowing you got out safe with just some ruined shoes, this picture makes me laugh. 😆 😆 Ok one more 😆

Every boardwalk should have railings to keep unsuspecting people form falling off boardwalks. A petition has been started.

This is such an awesome idea. I could have been seriously hurt.
They should make sure they have bumper pads on the railings too.

I suppose you want roadside ditches next to cemeteries to be labeled also, especially when there is deeeeep snow. 😆

Awesome choice for 2500! Was just there checking the area out. Not an easy route to any of the WP’s. Congratulations on 2500!
