Yes, and will continue to until I know better.
Hasn’t failed me yet.
I have a Magellan Explorist 300 I could part with. It is a basic unit. It runs on AA’s, and I do not have computer cables, though I have seen them on ebay and the likes. I would part with it for say $20.
The cache in question has been changed to a 5 terrain. Thanks for the input all.
I’ve always wondered about the projecting through the year thing. I think a decent amount of my caches would be near impossible right now in over a foot of snow, with a layer of ice through the middle. Because you are supposed to rate them for the most difficult time of the year, does this mean a 1 1/2 str terrain for 9 months really be rated a four star now? It would seem the answer is yes.
no problems here
Distance as the crow flies? It seems that many people take many different routes. Just a thought.
The store is called Delaney’s. If you go that just to look for cans, I’d call ahead. Last time I was there, the owner said he would not be getting them anymore, because the shipping charges for pallets of them were so high.
antigo silt loam if I remember correctly from grade school
Is the hardest granite in the world found in Baraboo?
There are mountain bike trails at the Kickapoo Valley Reserve (KVR). I have never ridden them, but have hiked many of them. They would be a good workout. I would suggest checking the home page for more info though. They were closed last weekend due to all of the recent rain.
I was up that way this last weekend, and I would say they aren’t nearly as ferocious as they are around here (Deerfield/Madison). I thought they would be much worse. Maybe they drowned?
KVR madmen
I’ve been thinking of putting on in the neighborhood as well. I’m hoping to be up Labor day weekendish. Curious to see where yours will be. I’m hoping the KVR caches have survived.
Good luck
That would be me. Sorry for the confusion.
