That would be me. Sorry for the confusion.
07/25/2007 at 2:01 am in reply to: August ’07 Edition- Wisconsin Natural Resources Magazine #1877286They did a nice job highlighting the many uses of the GPSr. I noticed a few surprises, namely that the made a mention of caches in SNA’s. Lots of cacher pictures though.
possibly
GC9E5E
Dr Evermore and Lady EleanorThe wp with the ladders almost got us, but we also did find the final. I also wondered why there weren’t seperate caches in each of the previous “parks”. At least now it is doable though. Our first attempt took us to a store entrance next to the resort lodge. That did not seem right.
I spend a large amount of time in Ontario and the surrounding area each summer. Unfortunately my fiance is in a weddding that weekend. I’m sure she wouldn’t understand if I wasn’t there. I wish I could go, I missed the last event for the same reason.
I noticed on one of the cache pages at least, it said the event runs through june 1. The website says june30. I hope the latter is correct, but can anyone confirm this? A couple cachers on the way this weekend.
ThanksIf you are talking about GCT56R, it was archived today, the 17th.
Yes, thank you much. Will be down soon to get the other two.
Saw the subject, and my little head had visions of sugarplums. Thanks for the persistence and dedication. Hopefully many will be able to enjoy some additional areas that were not known to exist to them. Thanx
So with this policy, could you place a string of 3,4, or 5 “virtual” stages in a row? It sounds like yes, buttt. The SNA I’m thinking of allows hunting, horses, mountain bikes and the like. Hiking off trail is allowed. I was hoping something like this would come along, but?
good possibility
An hour and a half? Wow. Took me over twice that, due to many naked caches. There was one I went back three times to get. I did get the mural one, and the coords are off. I didn’t find one other, or even look for the disabled cache. Neat series, though I wonder how long several of those will last.
Sounds like fun, may just have to check it out. There are a bunch of fairly recently placed caches near there as well. Not sure if you were asking for help or just posting to let cachers know about the event. If you need help, I should be around.
bottle opener and maybe a pair of size 15 boots
depending on the weekend, I would like to tag along as well
