Have it marked and we’ll be there.

I thought the Beast would make a great curator!! But a library would be another good idea or a member until we get enough for a library to be interested.

Thanks for the nice words and encouragement. We have had so much fun on our first two hundred, we’ve already cached onward. Thanks to all those who have taken the time to place the caches and led us to the new and beautiful areas that we have so enjoyed. Looking forward to seeing you all at Devil’s Lake in August.
Thanks, Bonnie, Jeff, Madison & Murray

Forgot to mention, we also carry a couple of the “What is a Geocache” letters for caches without them.

Also want to send our congrats and kudos, etc. We wish you happy hunting on your next 400 and thank you for all the entertaining posts you have made on WGA. You’ve made the day for many old cachers and newbies alike as you encourage them onward. Happy Trails!!!!!!

We carry large and small ziplock baggies. Also small pencil sharpeners, which we leave often in the bag with the logbook and pencil. Small notebooks and Duck tape (camoflaged). We also leave small trash out bags sometimes. We enjoy helping keep the caches in good shape for the next cacher.

in reply to: Mad City Cachers, Part III? (All welcome) #1735527

Thanks for volunteering for the next Mad City Cachers. Personally I would prefer the later July 20th as a date, but let’s see what the group feels.

in reply to: Hiking boots #1739527

The Boot Barn in Black Earth has just about everything, from sales to top of the line. So there’s a good selection and any can be tried on. We usually get ours at REI near West Towne Mall in Madison. Good boots and good selection, but not exactly inexpensive. Not sure what’s on sale now.

Thanks John. My brother gave me a copy of the article from Isthmus. Very Good. Don’t know if I’ll be able to make it Saturday, but hoping to see you tomorrow night at the Madcachers II.

in reply to: Ammo Boxes #1745427

Delaney’s Surplus near Baraboo, one of my sources of supplies and ammo boxes has a few 50 cal. for 3 for $10. If anyone wants some, I can bring them to the picnic.

Hotdogs Off Trail are ready!!!! We can almost throw a cache from our house to Devil’s Lake. We’ll be available to help, and would like to place a temp cache if needed.

in reply to: Mad City Cachers Take II #1735499

Sounds like a open night so far. I’ll put it on the calendar.

Highly reccommend Pikes Peak State Park in Iowa almost directly across from Wyalusing. The views are fantastic, trails are top notch and a new cache has been hidden there, GCG2EM , Pikes Peak Gold. We camp there almost every Thanksgiving.
