Happy Trails and welcome again.
Hotdogs Off TrailWarm welcome back from the Hotdogs Off Trail. Looking forward to seeing you along the trails.
Hi Guys,
When will the Hot Chocolate be ready at the campout????? Just returned from Arkansas Ozarks. You will be there won’t you??
OK, I’ve checked out a few of these, and really enjoyed them. so today while surfing, I happened upon this…and by no means have any comment other than this is very weird:
Would you eat your (Geocaching?)Buddies if you were starving???
Possibly then the WGA Board can play it the way they decide to play it also.
Great Report Jeremy! With these minutes, all those that are interested in the operations of the WGA will be able to have a basis for a personal comment. I hope these Minutes will be read by many of the WGA members, and commented upon. Thanks again.
My work on geocaching.com has been slow also. Most of us have paid the $30/year and I think it is well worth it. For the 275,000 logs that geocachers made last week alone, I think once in a while there can be a problem. Let’s just have a little patience.
The Jeep TB craze started when the first Garmin yellow etrex gpsr units were affectionately called “Yellow GPS” which soon became “Yellow Jeeps” and became a virtual type cache that you could log upon seeing a Yellow Jeep(s). Jeep jumped on the bandwagon with their first Yellow Jeeps Travel Bugs, and are now in their 4th color…red.
Lorrie,
Sorry to hear that you are in need of help with some of your caches. We would gladly help with our all time favorite Sauk it to Me, Baby GC85A4, especially with it being so close to home. An exceptional cache! Will hope to see you on the trails again, as circumstances permit.
Bonnie and Jeff
We’ll have your other side. The Hotdogs will be on campsite #14…see you there.
As long as you asked Alan, may we suggest one of our favorite’s, Hawksbill Crag (GC3630). It has views that don’t end, and the best is if you can get someone to catch your picture out on the crag (see pictures on the website). Maybe a bit farther than you want to drive, but definitely well worth it. We’ll be back in the area for Thanksgiving Day this fall, and would be glad to revisit the cache with you…#4000 or beyond!! Hope you enjoy your hunt where ever!!
Hotdogs Off Trail – Bonnie, Jeff, (Madison), & MurrayThanks for the link, Jeremy!! I was unaware of this map for Wisconsin caches. Not paying close enough attention, I guess.
Closer to the Devil’s Lake-Natural Bridge-Dells area is White Mound County Park, located on Hwy 23 between Reedsburg and Spring Green. It’s a beautiful little park (1100 acres) with a nice campground (70 campsites), nice lake for fishing, trails, and at least one geocache (Jewel by the Lake) to hunt. Phone# 608-546-5011
Thanks, Stephanie….see everyone at Hartman Creek!!
