i grabbed 2 this weekend, just have to get caught up on logging and reporting 😉
Don’t take this as coming from cranky old fahts , just old fahts  .
We have a tendency to be tardy on logging caches, but we always log Cache Rescues as quickly as possible, usually from a phone. It’s the one time we want to be sure to get the word out to others, “don’t waste your gas and energy on this one, as the opportunity is gone.” 🙂 🙂
Just following ZB’s breadcumbs, found a whole lotta pix: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenfagerdotcom/sets/72157603697489024/, and the story behind the pix: http://kenfager.com/wordpress/?m=200801
Congrats on getting out there and showing how fun February in WI really is! 🙂 🙂

hi,
i have my moment of fame online today in this article about woodpeckers. my photos are #5 and #35 in the online gallery. i don’t know what photos might have been used in print, but if anyone gets that paper and sees that either of them are mine, could you save the paper? i could nab it sometime when we’re up that way and would be ever so grateful. tia
But alas, there is only one photo, and it is of a Pileated Woodpecker shown with the online article. The paper then references the others within its photo gallery. So…..anything you’d like us to do for you? 🙂 🙂
Thanks for the nice pictures, though!
See there are some nice new additions today! 🙂 🙂

I don’r remember having trouble with the switch, but I have had a few as yet unexplained problems. I’m not sure if it is a problem with GSAK or with the office network. I turn on the setting that will check for a new version every time I start up GSAK. Just the other day I realized I hadn’t had an update message in quite a while. When I checked the site I found that I was over 100 revisions behind. Now I am going to keep my eye on the web site to see if there is a bug in that feature.
Seems like updates or ‘build versions’ come out almost weekly/daily. We try to stay on top of them, but can’t speak to the wisdom of that…perhaps more likely to put you in a beta-tester mode. Probably better to wait for a more official update, but don’t really know how often that is. Our last update was triggered by finding a macro that seemed to require the move, so we made it.
Here’s the thread with the updates……go to the very end of the thread. http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=23309&st=80
Good luck! 🙂 🙂
Made the change without problems or regrets! 🙂 🙂

OK KEEN is in my top 3 for customer service. I broke off a eye-hook for my work boots and filed a warranty claim. I specifically stated I was not asking for a refund or replacement. I just stated that I thought they should be using solid steel for the hooks rather than a brittle cast material. I was just now granted a $180 credit for the store…..I’m torn about using the credit; what to you think?
Initial thought is to ‘reward them’ by taking them up on their generous offer, and buying another pair or two of something different – they make a lot of different shoes for a myriad of uses, e.g. tough & rugged ‘water shoes’, running/trail shoes, casual shoes. That will give you a few more opportunities to sample their great products, and if you like them, reward Keen with a sprinkling of positive reviews. Regarding your current shoes, have the eye-hook replaced by a local artisan.
Just a few thoughts. (You might detect that we are also fans of Keen, and own quite a few of their shoes.) 🙂 🙂

Might be worth a shot to ‘hit compatability view’ in IE’s ‘Tools’ drop-down.
That fixed it. Thanks for researching this for me. Not sure why this happened, but at least I will know what to do if it happens again.
Great! Glad to hear it! 🙂 🙂

As an aside, we’ve found this app very useful when traveling within WI. 🙂 🙂
Have you tried another browser?

but I have Windows 8 and IE10 so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Musta read that on the internets………….
No problem on Win7 with any of the usual browsers (IE10, FF, Chrome.) Try ‘Googling’ the problem? Pretend it’s a Puzzle Cache.
No problem here. Ummmmm, what link? (If we post this next to your posting, will we catch something? Good luck   )
Bump! (Never saw this Announcement.) 🙂 🙂
