Congratulations on your Milestone, and on getting it done in such a grand way by doing Eagle Source, and then some more! Lots of prime winter caching challenges in that neck of the woods! 🙂 🙂

Thanks for the info HP2. I’ll let Lacknothing lead without her ‘shoes cuz that’s what good friends do.
Trying to share the “wet foot experience”?
Sorry, did not mean to imply water….though words like ‘plunge’ and ‘bridge’ likely didn’t help. Think CSI’s log touches on it……more likely to give your knees and dupas unexpected workouts. A nice walking stick would be nice, just don’t forget to leave it behind at GZ after the celebration! 🙂 🙂
Have not gone in from Atkins, but the other route passes through sedge hummock which provides a nice obstacle course of ‘holes’ that a foot will plunge down into, whereas a snowshoe will be more likely to bridge and stay afloat. Same can be said for a ~2″ layer of crust; snowshoes may float atop, but boots will punch through, and then trip you up as you go to pull your foot out while walking forward (hmmmmmm…..walking backward might be easier for this problem.) Either way, with or without snowshoes, it will be a doable, unforgettable and fun adventure! 🙂 🙂

Yes, but who really HID the cache?
Are Andy Hill and iryshe not one and the same?
GC160R0=> First Down Wisconsin
Interesting thing about the Original CO is that he was quite the ‘Johnny Cache Seed’ back at the beginning.

GC161R0 is hidden at the location of the first geocache in Wisconsin. There is a link on the page to that original cache page. Unfortunately it went missing before anyone found it. Click on the hider for some interesting info.
So what was the first cache ever found in Wisconsin?
Ontario, Wisconsin? 🙂
Congratulations on crossing the big 10K line! Awesome! And you certainly picked a great cache adventure for the milestone! As we’ve watched you over the past several years (yep, we’ve been peeking :oui: :oui:) you’ve certainly been having a blast, surrounded by many friends, all along the way!
Way To Go! 🙂 🙂
It looks like a Challenge Map, or two. 🙂 🙂

Went to load up with salad, spied the fishies, and came back with a mountain of the slippery bits. Herring and beers would make a good Game Day spread.
Are you saying that as people or as puffins?
OMG! WHAT IT HAPPENING?? 😯

. . . Does Coops deliver?
I think our favorite meal was when we did tacos. Nothing fancy. Beer is good.Coops has great pickled herring at the salad bar. Went to load up with salad, spied the fishies, and came back with a mountain of the slippery bits. Herring and beers would make a good Game Day spread. 🙂 🙂

Sounds exactly like our first GPSr set-up…….don’t recommend using it in a city park, or any other place where you’ll be seen….We found out muggles will stare and scratch their heads, and geocachers will laugh at you – no kidding!
Worked great, and hard to beat the price, though! 😎 😎
20 hours left on this sale of knit touchscreen gloves for $5/free shipping…..after that, who knows where the link may lead???????????
