TFTFix! 🙂 🙂
Thanks all! This was a wonderful challenge, that, through the technologies of geocaching and this cache, took us to many memorable places we’d never have visited on our own. We were led on a journey to many of Wisconsin’s ‘Best Kept Secrets.’ Hamlets, Parks, Geographical Wonders.
A huge ‘Thank You!” must be given to those who’ve made this journey possible, including the CO’s, and those who place their well-crafted caches throughout the entire great State of Wisconsin (including the Sovereign State of Winneconne, of course……)
DO IT!! 🙂 🙂
What’s the story behind this store’s somewhat dated offerings? Perhaps just a shop with a printer that does custom orders?
Congratulations on the big 3000 milestone, and kudos for sharing it in such a great way with others at the Mead! 🙂 🙂
STATE ICE AGE TRAIL AREAS [Through sweetlife’s link, above – (thanks!)]
This appears new, at least for some areas, as the overarching description states: “Some SIATAs are proposed to be open for hunting and trapping”.
May have been some areas open before, as do recall passing under a bow hunter a few years back, sitting in a tree over-hanging the trail, likely in Oct/Nov:
‘ALL STATE ICE AGE TRAIL AREAS ARE CLOSED TO HUNTING AND
TRAPPING FROM THE FRIDAY IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING MEMORIAL
DAY THROUGH OCTOBER 14, AND YEAR AROUND FOR 100 YARDS
ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ICE AGE TRAIL.
Hunting and trapping is allowed in State Parks, including State Ice Age
Trail Areas, from October 15 through the Thursday immediately preceding
Memorial Day weekend. Trapping is not permitted within 100 yards of any
designated use area, including trails that are not the Ice Age Trail.
See reverse for more information.’Congratulations Todd! Hope the FTF+ Milestone felt as exciting as bowling a 300 game! 🙂 🙂
Congratulations on your mega ‘Harvest’ of smileys!
🙂 🙂YIKES! Sorry we didn’t catch this earlier!
We know that the whole Hardinfam has been working very hard to make this accomplishment happen, and we hope you enjoyed number 1000 right to the very end!
Congratulations on reaching the #1000 Milestone, and may your future be filled with fun and rewarding caching adventures! 🙂 🙂

Comments:
Enforcement could be an issue, depending on the venue. Does the WGA have a ‘lease’ on the property during the event? Will there be an ‘enforcer’ position created on the BOD, or will contractors be used.
What constitutes a ‘vendor’? If one WGA member attends and decides to sell something to another WGA member, 1:1, do they need to ‘take it out back’? Not talking about puzzle-solves, of course…………
🙂 🙂
Truly might be a D1/T1, no? 😯 😯

i have a lot of puzzles posted and most are of a 5 difficulty. if i give 1 person a clue, i feel that it should go out to all. as i release clues to cachers, the difficulty should come down, so i lower the rating. to me this is not fair to the cachers that have already solved and found my puzzle without the use of clues. it is also not right to give clues out and allow cachers to log a 5 difficulty puzzle when this puzzles has thus become a 2 or a 3 with the use of clues. i feel that cachers should retain the d/t levels of a cache at which it was logged and not at the levels to which i have altered them. possible changes in the future of logging caches? just saying.
First off, we greatly enjoy completing your caches, a creatively unique combination of tough puzzles, fun puzzles, and informative Earthcaches. It is apparent you enjoy creating and placing them, likely with a bit of devilish glee.
In reply to your statement:
Just like Finders do things differently, according to what they are ‘comfortable’ with, so should CO’s.
If we might be so bold: You make a good argument for not disclosing any clues on your D5 puzzles. It seems that would clarify your philosophy to Finders, and keep things simple and enjoyable for you, by
– preserving the integrity of the D5 for all who earned the solve on their own,
– removing the need to provide hints,
– eliminates struggling over fairness.(and as you once noted elsewhere, it should control the number of finds and needed maintenance on those caches.)
Just some thoughts. 🙂 🙂
Muchas gracias, Gato Negro! 🙂 🙂
