As non-hunters who love to hike through State Parks after tupperware in the Fall, Winter and Spring, why does this give us a bad feeling? We admit we don’t know all the facts…………………. This notice appears at odds with our local newspaper, which stated that Act 168 expands hunting and trapping on all state parks AND TRAILS….perhaps it is to all state lands, in general.

OOOOoooooooo! Must be the bakery with the nasty, tasty, oil-gushing-in-your-mouth bread, and the autographed picture of Pat Metheny behind the counter. Thanks! 🙂 🙂
If it’s the bakery I’m thinking of, here’s the cache site for an archived cache.
(GC391EE) It will give you coordinates about 50 feet from the front door.Yup! That’s the one….. absolutely do not know how we could have missed knowing there was a cache there. Interesting place! Thanks!

Bailey’s Harbor or Jacksonport?
While on a Paczki hunt one morning up nort, we ended up at a little crossroads bakery that knew what they were, but offered up something they said was even better: Kolaches! Not sure they were better, but they certainly hit the spot equally well. And, like pizza and Pazkis, they are great for morning, noon and night.
But ahhhhhhh, for want of a malasada……………. 🙁 🙁
Then back up it comes, and then ate a log as it went down again. PUFFIN POOP!
And again…….how does one find out what’s goin’ on?
Sardines and herring (puffin food). Pita chips with garlic hummus. (you might not see us, but you’ll know we’re there……………… 😳 🙂 ) And Mountain Dew. That’s about it.
And oh yes! We always look for a local Ma & Pa bakery in the morning….the earlier, the better!
Congratulations on achieving this massive milestone, especially on a challenge so befitting your journey! And your log makes it look especially sweet! Perfect timing for Preparation to meet Opportunity! Serendipity-do-dah, man! Best wishes for your next 15K! 🙂 🙂

Oh yes! It was great to see, in the photos, Mr. Sandlanders’ smiling face back out on the trail! 🙂 🙂
Congratulations on all that you’ve accomplished, experienced, cherished and wrapped into such a wonderful log! Inspiring you are! Shucks, Admirable too!
Yikes! Even your new GPSr appears to sport the Rustic Colors!
🙂 🙂
BINGO! 🙂 🙂

Thanks Zuma. Your response was actually helpful. My question really should have been phrased as a 2-parter; one being the “how” and then a general question beyond this particular set of places outlined in this cache dealing with both the where and the how.
This should help with the ‘Where’, perhaps?
Looking to visit some of the greatest natural places in Wisconsin?

LINK TO INTERACTIVE GOOGLE MAP ====> Interactive Google MapThere are still two UNF locations in need of a nearby cache:
1) Eagle Cave – Blue River
2) Kickapoo Indian Caverns – WauzekaNot Samson’s Basketball TB…………

. . . just thinking of it from a standpoint now of people who may or may not be able to get there whether it is a from a financial or physical standpoint.
Ahhhhhhhhh………. there is definitely an unmet need you’re touching on here, that is bound to increase with time. A true Virtual Find. Perhaps something through groundspeak could be created: ‘Visit-less Challenges’, ‘Vicarious Surrogating’ (a novel smiley for the Vicarious one…..think this get’s close to the ‘how’ of one of g_run’s unfathomables….); or something outside of GS – NatGeo? More likely, Google/Google Earth (with ads), of course. There is an App-designer waiting in the wings to fulfill this market.
Thanks for this perspective. 🙂 🙂
