Could not find an answer on Groundspeak, but did find an Event that made the claim that attendees would be rewarded with such a fine souvenir ( http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ce30c4b1-7185-4d6c-91e1-b57004063be1
sandlanders missed the Earthcache featured at this Event…..)Plus, it sure does look like a souvenir, doesn’t it? If not designed for posterity, it seems such a waste of fine creativity……………… 🙂 🙂

You still found it right?
The answer is no, you have not really found it.
(This is lame, and beside the point to be made here, but how do you know the image is an actual boot at that location, and not a doctored image, or a piece of painted paper or stone.)
Can you touch it? Smell it? Hear it? Taste it? Experience it with any other sense but see it? Can you experience the surroundings, or the journey to it? It’s about the journey, as much as the destination. Just an opinion. 🙂 🙂
(No more to say about it on our end, as this has the feeling of one of those downward-spiral discussions found on the ground-speak forums…………)Thanks for your time to read this.

Tomorrow? 😆
Oops, perhaps ‘Tommorow’ is National Ortographobia day…….Hate it when that happens! 🙂 🙂
It’s a Puzzle Post ………. 🙂 🙂
Tomorrow is prep day for the Big Day. You know, make sure you have your EC equipment ready to go (and waterproof?). Grain-size estimator, color chart, pH paper, etc.
Thanks ‘day!

Short-cutting allowed, or encouraged ?? 🙂 🙂
That’s so funny. You wouldn’t believe how many people who have logged it I’ve had to help with that cache. Some of them even when I tell them how, they still can’t figure it out. I NEVER thought it would be that tricky. I was especially happy Greyhounder was able to score the FTF with no help. The given dummy coordinates put you on the pitchers mound at the baseball diamond. 8)
As far as short cutting, you’ll have to ask 😯 I’m pretty easy, just ask Mrs. Northwoods.
It’s a crazy one….in pursuit of it, we solved the other two, but that one……… no assistance requested, yet, though. Will take it back up again in prep for 2013.
OK done stealing this thread now! What’s this one about? Oh yeah, rabbit husbandry, or Mathatopia Puzzles? (spell that right? ORTOGRAPHOBIA) 🙂 🙂
Short-cutting allowed, or encouraged ?? 🙂 🙂
Not knowing the specifics, but curious as heck, and knowing that many tough puzzles appear unsolvable until solved, we’d like a crack at the unsolvable……can you share, either here or via pm? Thanks! 🙂 🙂

Obviously deaf geocachers can’t do this one lol
Don’t think that should be a problem using the route we took…..though not sure it gave us the correct result without verifying in the field. Let us know if you’re interested in the tool used. 🙂 🙂

Where’s the Leave No Trace outrage over this? Think this judge should be pinched for littering in a National Park, by golly! Litter bug! What if every scout did this? It’s like throwing soap into Old Faithful!
Besides, he should have just carved his initials in a tree, or chiseled them into the rocks like a true pioneer….and then the GC community could make an Earthcache out if it…..or could have made a 5T Virtual……… Kids! 🙂 🙂
What are the requirements for a geocaching merit badge? And what does one look like? 🙂 🙂
Is there TB-holding cache container hidden at the site of the Picnic?
TB: TB58J1R (WestBendCacheBahGeocoinCacheNoTrace)
Owner: CacheNoTrace
letzte bekannte Position: GC3NPYXKa- Boom!
 :wacko:Sure would be nice to have a map showing the position of the racers. Makes it easier (if one were so inclined as to desire to provide assistance) to go out and grab one – whether it be in WI, or IA, or CO – if’n one were plannin’ a long trip or somethin’. Just thinkin’. Just sayin’. 🙂 🙂
surprised no one has started a ‘social media’ campaign (yet) to get theirs around the world a couple of times…………..
