Here’s a ‘Challenge’ we see BBG recently did, so hopefully they’ll chime in. http://www.geocaching.com/challenges/CXB46_Thats_a_Big_Bat

OOPS! A CR just popped up in Washburn! Murphy’s Law still applies in this sport. Gas up the car, HP2! 😉
And the beat goes on! But hey, pretty sure that is Froggerz cache rescue territory. 🙂 🙂
Awwww shucks 😳 😳 …… thanks for the acknowledgement! This was our Earth Day ‘gift’, though it was either late, or early.
Yes, the devil’s spot still sits at World’s End, and we nodded respectfully while passing along the Great River Road.
We had a lot of fun searching far and wide, into lands under the shadow of the Great Bald Eagle; lands which are beautiful, breathtaking, and wonderfully strange.
Along with many great memories, we return bearing gifts:

Again, thanks! 🙂 🙂
Here’s an interesting approach to having a ‘big can’ (frickin’ big, actually) for a container, that seems to be surviving well. It’s in the guy’s front yard, strapped to a tree. A shocker to come upon, that’s for sure.

I think a year or so ago, Todd300 posted the url for a blog that espoused this cleansing sentiment.
or ESTJ v. INFP v. TFTC? 🙂 🙂
Congratulations! Loved the logs from the Quest! Certainly not to be forgotten, and one to tell the grand-kids about! 🙂 🙂
Many, Many thanks, zuma! Most helpful in understanding where the sport as been, and where this team might like to go! 🙂 🙂
When on ‘the Lonely trail’, we are no longer surprised to find the remains of numerous ammo can ‘nests’ that have been torn apart and raided. At this point, we’ve come to appreciate the token gesture of the ‘thoughtful thieves’, that bag up and leave the contents behind. The sad thing is that some of these are ‘legacy’ caches in beautiful spots, that no longer have an active CO or ‘trailman’ to rebuild them.
Very sorry to see your caches being hit, bartrod. Creepy, for sure. You might want to consider swapping out any remaining cans with Lock ‘n Locks, or the like……steal them yourself. Perhaps leave one as bait under the watchful eye of a motion-activated video camera, and post the video on YouTube…….
What’s the history behind the DeLorme Challenges?
Controversial at the time, or widely accepted? An idealized labor of love to aspire to?
Change is exciting for some…..others, not so much. Seems like the more one has vested in geocaching, whether in finds or time, the more the extremes in reaction emerge.
Just part of a thought.
Pssssssst……………..Hey Curly Girls….congrats on your latest milestone, and for being able to grab it on what sounds like one sweet challenge in your our back yard! 🙂 🙂
3200 Kudos! Great to see the drum rolls continue as you ‘snare’ yet another milestone! 🙂 🙂

We did get a few responses back, most of them telling us where to put it (and the sun does not shine there) ……..
Seems like WisKid mentioned encountering this same sort of response/attitude, at least occasionally, in his communications as a Reviewer. Really, really hard to believe anyone responding that way. ❓
On the positive, you did find a way to get a meaningful response! 🙂
It’ll start like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBN3i2RXa4k (note the etrex on right, and the ‘get outta the way, bear! bell on the left. 🙂 🙂
