It would be nice to see where the samples are coming from, especially on such a large lake as Winnebago. Despite the noise in the data, this info, plus the population of shanties and placement of ‘roads’, should give you a good basis for assessing the risks.
Thanks for the link, T&B!
😀 😀
According to some discussion on the groundspeak forums http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=265356, there is a gc.com facebook posting that is quoted something like this:
On geocaching.com’s facebook page they say:
“When this infrastructure upgrade is finished security and site performance will be enhanced. There won’t be visible changes YET. The upgrade sets the stage for the Geocaching.com release next Tuesday. Hold onto your hats. Major – and amazing – new functions!”See they moved the Vikings game to Detroit. Think they should have moved it to Green Bay, and played it in the snow, those wusses! 😉
Thanks, everyone, for sharing your knowledge and thoughts on this! It’s appreciated! 😀
Just spent 3+ hours shoveling our place and the neighbors. Snapped the blade off one shovel – dang rebated freebie from, um…. some place where you can save big money………………
Yabutt, great training for winter caching out der, up der, eh?
Maybe should get a machine for moving snow, or a fancy new GPS – hmmm…snowblower or GPS? 🙄 That’s easy! Time to return the broken shovel for a new one, and check out the GPSr’s at The Man’s Mall!
😀😳
Loved all of the caches here that we’ve done! Gill’s Rock was our very first DNF on our first day of caching. It was the picture on the cache page that we found so irresistible. Heck, if it warn’t for the picture, we’d probably have never started geocaching. Yep, it’s Peach’s fault!
😆

Nice and heavy snowfall now in the Fox Valley, with a blizzard warning issued. And the pollen count is way, way down! 😉
3″ of light powder and an assisting breeze.. Easy to shovel – just toss it in the air, and on to the neighbor’s it blows. 😈
Of course, we’re shoveling the stuff the upwind neighbor shoveled onto us a few ours ago 🙄
Could be worse:

FTP! Arghhhh! Can’t even get that right over here………………….. 👿 Carry on 😀
