Welcome Sadie!! Hope this community can assist in your efforts to get the Pointers back up and running. 😀 They’re a valuable bunch from what we’ve seen! We’ve cached there several times – had us going around in circles! – which led to a few attempts to contact the club, but no one was home. 😯 As you can see, there are some alumni & alumnae in the WGA who would likely be willing to assist …… add us to the list, and give us a shout! 😀

Good logs can help us decide where to cache next. Can’t get much from a “TFTC”, except that the cache was findable at that time.

💡 WOW! 💡 You really hit the nail on the head with another aspect of this issue! You are also giving forward to the community of future cachers, as well as providing ‘buzz’ for the cache and its owner.

It’s a personal endorsement and recommendation of this cache for future cachers to consider when planning future adventures

Um, note of improvement to self………. condense down to a single sheet of paper………………..

So is it the Wisconsin Record if they were found in Illinois??

                      Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Good point!

I suppose, if a group came up from Chicago, and got all their caches in Appleton, that would then be an Illinois record, right? Home of da Bears? No Way!

Well then, maybe it’s a Midwest record.

If you ever get down to Phoenix, here’s a nice spot to start your run
                        http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx?lat=33.65725&lng=-112.675783

You’ll need to expand the map out a few clicks/rescale, but there is a half loop on the Sun Valley parkway west out of Waddell that will give you about 225 caches……looks like each are right on/near the road at .1 mile increments……but it does indicate something about snakes and scorpions GC1ZYNJ
                        …… 😯

Thanks much all, for your thoughts and guidance!

We don’t have a Mac to use, so can’t try that route…..

We’ve never had any problems being on-line from multiple devices before, so if that is the problem, it would seem to be the result of a change at GC.com….and have placed a question on that forum as well……but this forum seems much more responsive. Also, we’ver made no change in browsers or OSs from the previous ‘good old days.’

Not sure we’ve changed any practices related to logging in through other sites, but will take a closer look at that.

But, symptomatically, we may just have a simple case of the RSplash40’s……..is there a cure for that? 😉

                              Thanks!

Palm Pre with “Geocache Locator”. Same comments as above from bugsmasher69 for Blackberry BlackStar. If I was just starting over, I’d definitely consider something with the Google Android OS………With Google behind it, apps for that a gonna explode! And likely be affordable, too 😉
