Closer/Doable?: GCXKAH

I guess I’m not sure about this one either: GC2KA27
We were wondering that as well. For this one, given the ‘feature type’ options that currently exist, ‘Niagara Escarpment’ seems the closest.
For the other cache, it seems like there should be a category for ‘Other Stuff along the IAT, that might not be the result of an Ice Age’…..?

Comments from a couple of novices:
It looks like there is latitude given in classifying these caches, as alluded to in the title: ‘What are some of the geological features an EarthCache could represent.’ At this point, negotiation is probably an integral part of refining the Award Program.Since there is an Award Program that depends on feature identification/association., it would be nice if each IATCC had a feature identified and associated with it, just like the EC’s are trying to identify and list their Classifications.
Just some thoughts.
Darn Yes/No questions. 😳
Anywhoooooo, been seeing these pop up in different ways, and with increasingly larger scale and complexity. The following ultimately prompted the question: http://www.eugenecascadescoast.org/geocaching/ .No need for a reply. Thanks sandlanders!
Will the WI State Park Geocaches be interconnected within an overall GeoTour? thanks
Can’t get photos to post, but here are links to two:

Spied something just like that to the west of this cache: GC2XHAB Green County Barn Quilts – 4-H , at Wittenwyler and Feldt.
View the Sat. Map to check.
Thought it might make a good ‘WI Oddity’ candidate, when we visited.

On c geo, go to:
Settings
scroll down to Other Options
click on ‘Identify as Android Browser‘
Cross Finders
Try again
🙂 🙂Not sure we’ve previously conducted the controversial practice we ‘fessed-up to, but we’ve now requested our points be adjusted downward.
To us, it looks bad, brings into question our integrity, and casts a cloud of distaste over the game.
A slippery slope leads to slime, as we’ve seen happen elsewhere, and we regret bringing it into this rewarding and valuable Game.
Please accept our apology for this. It will not happen again.
whooops, pm

. . . I’ve also gone out for caches at midnight to look for interesting things like that. Just did it, actually, went out for a cache to find after midnight(intentionally) for double points. Couple actually, and turns out one was found bright and early the next day. Player claimed double points as I hadn’t posted my log, or points. . . .
We recently did just this, at a cache that was previously found and signed by yourself and F1rebirds. We had no intent to take any points away from you, as the way the game has been played, as long as we can recall, is to award the same amount of points to all who find it on that same day. The rationale, we thought, was to discourage the need to camp out until the stroke of midnight, and keep the game an enjoyable and rewarding activity that can be pursued at a more leisurely pace.
Works great, CJ!
Wish list (never ending…..) include “0” for missing alphanumerics in output.
Have never seen a Challenge that seeks this info, but assuming there is one, this would be a valuable submission/addition to the ‘GSAK Macros’, with reference to/from the Challenge cache. 🙂 🙂
We also were extremely impressed when we stopped at one of the Arkansas State Parks. The Park Staff served as extremely knowledgeable ambassadors of their program, leading to a remarkable 30 minute chat, a hat on our heads, and a commitment to return and visit more of their parks. GC1DR2G
Another state reference, this one from Texas – looks like fun!

As an aside, but a related aside, does anyone know the GC number for the WI State Park Challenge? 🙂 🙂
