Congratulations on 5K!
Ah the elusive pileated! Still trying to get the husband a sighting of this bird. Hopefully this spring! Thanks for sharing the article and nice photos!
Congratulations! Looks like a fun time was had by all. Hope we can join in on the next adventure!
Congratulations on your 10,000th cache! A great choice for a milestone cache as well!!
Congrats on a great start to the year!!
Looks like we probably won’t be able to make it either. Have to help WA set up in Horicon at 12:30. Let us know how it goes and have a great time!!
We’re game! We already have Gallagher Marsh so will meet at Wet Maze 2.3. We’ll plan on being there around 10:15 to scout out the parking area. Maybe we’ll be able to get back there!
I think janks15 should finish blazing the trail they started a few weeks ago! wink
Hmmm now that the snow has melted I think we could easily finish that off. We’d be up for either Wet Maze 2.3 or the Expedition before the LCG! As long as we get back for our set-up duties on time!
I have had my eye on this one because I think I’m going to slowly start working on filling in my Jasmer challenge spots and this one would help me get there. GCAD90 It sounds like a lot of driving, which wouldn’t be the worst thing if it is as cold as it was last year! I’ve also had my eye on GC104VB for quite a while.
Both are great caches! Cracking Down is one of our all time favorites!
We’ve been trying to find time to do The Expedition for a while…too bad I have to work on Saturday!
Congratulations on another great year in the LCG!!
Congrats WA! A great choice for a milestone!
Congratulations to JimandLinda on their 4000, here’s to 4000 more.
With the transition to the new website some pages are still being updated and revamped. This may be the case with the Land Management pages, hopefully it will be up and running soon.
What is the name of the Wildlife Area? I work in Wildlife Managment with the DNR and should be able to find the proper manager for you. Feel free to PM me with the information.
I learned about geocaching while teaching outdoor education in Illinois and of course told my husband about it. It wasn’t until we moved to Wisconsin that we found our first cache and gave the sport a try (even though I had taught it for 3 years!)
Our first cache was GC336B “The Marshman’s Cache”. It was placed in 2002 and over 200 people have been out to Horicon Marsh to find this cache! Now we hike these trails all the time and try to keep an eye on this cache to make sure it stays in such great shape!
