I awoke this morning with head plugged up, sneezing, runny nose. It appears that the dreaded Oconto virus has made its way to East sandland.
The good news, a suphedrine (sudafed) tablet has stopped the epidemic in its tracks.
Thanks, I’d done that last year but wasn’t signed in at the time. Now, with my new IP and unlimited data, I’m signed in 100% of the time.
A couple of weeks ago I did one that was a basketweave circle. It was not too bad as presented so I bumped the pieces up to 200+, made them square, and rotated them.
I’ll probably not do that again for a while.
TGIF
It’s the beer batter. Sounds like they must be using (wasting?) some pretty good beer.
Much activity in the garage last night. One trap has a dead mouse in it the other trap has disappeared.
Did anyone watch the super bowl ? I watched until the official screwed-up the first challenge, by then I’d already had enough of the extended commercial breaks so I shut it off and went back to reading my book.
I didn’t care who won or lost, I seldom do when we aren’t playing.
I had that same memory. I also seem to remember a certain pirate talking to some men with guns, poachers ?
I opened my last TV up to find that wire, thats why I got a new one.
Found the aluminum tape and that did the trick
Thanks hp2, the sensor is on the bottom right on this model. I have tried duct tape to no avail, it seems that RF shielding is one thing that duct tape isn’t good at. If I can find my aluminum tape I’ll try that but I’m not too hopeful.
I’ve managed to create a problem for myself. I replaced a failed TV with a new set. I got a Visio because I was satisfied with the performance of one that I already have and am using as my computer monitor.
The problem, being in the same room, the first time I turned the new TV on, it turned the monitor off. Later I found that changing the input on one always left the other saying ‘NO SIGNAL’.
I don’t need the remote for the one used as a monitor but I do for the TV so I can get by but it has the potential to become very irritating.
I was just sitting here noticing how much prettier the Cardinals are surrounded by all the fresh snow.
Took the snowblower down to the end of the drive and unburied the drive and mailbox from the pile that the snowplow left. Got out the roof scraper thingee and cleaned off the roof in the area that the heat cables have failed. Now it looks like I’ve got to get some more suet out for the woodpeckers and then decide if I shovel the rest of the drive or blow it.
Won snow, that doesn’t make any sense. Of course this is drivel.
Just went out and taped a snow brush to a pole and cleaned my TV dish.
