Just got back from Willow River S. P.

Willow Falls are pretty spectacular, they may not match up with some others but they’re better than anything here on the Mecan.

I think that a novice should go to a reputable bike shop and get a bike that fits them and is set up properly.

Fat tires, aluminum frame, comfort saddle, and any other great features will end up sitting in the garage if it doesn’t fit and isn’t any fun.

Fall is officially here. The cabbage beetles are starting to show up on the siding of the house.

I had a baby Fox snake on my walk by the back door about noon today. He got a little defensive when I scooted him over to the edge of the lawn but after that we got along ok as he disappeared into the grass. At about 8″ long he is not yet competition for my Mole hunting operation.

I’m thinking of taking the weekend off.

After seeing no activity for a while, yesterday I saw a new mole run. I put the traps out and this morning the mole is no more.

Working on getting enough pelts for a new coat by winter.

Here in East Sandland I own the property out to the middle of the road. The state and county may have an easement on it for their road but I am the one paying the taxes on the land.
