I finally spotted the Starlink 2 satellites this morning, a steady line of bright dots passing directly overhead for about 10 min. Have been foiled for about a week and was afraid they would be getting too high and faint to see. Now if its alright with the cat I can start to sleep later, … like that’s going to happen. 😀
The clock in my basement workshop is again correct. It takes a bit of patience to fix some things.

I’ve found a couple of very large ammo cans, I never knew what they were for but missile launcher rounds sounds about right.

Cheese Pizza ? Whats the point ?
Back in the bad old days we used to go over to Milty Wilty’s and get pizza. I always got a large cheese, sausage, and mushroom with extra mushrooms. It was piled so high with mushrooms that you couldn’t even see the rest of the toppings, and how I ever ate all of that I’ll never know. Oh and in those day you always had beer along with you in the car to wash thing down.
Just checking to see what happened if one posted on those bogus page numbers.

At least not one that you’re aware of.
A few years ago we were losing power two or three times a year.
I bought a generator and set it up in my garage, upon hearing this the power company assembled a crew and went out and cleared the trees along their lines and my generator sat unused. Usually after sitting for years collecting junk on top of it a generator would need the fuel system cleaned and flushed before it would start but the one I’ve got is fueled by LP so this last winter when an ice storm took down the lines I simply took the tank from the grill and after a few more pulls on the rewind than I would have liked I had power at my house.
I’ve had one power outage this spring but it was so short that I didn’t bother with it but that may be a sign that the trees are growing back.

I spent the summer of ’64’ at Ft. Leonard Wood, the wet bulb was so high that the base commander forbid giving GI hair cuts. The old timers spent the summer grumbling about us long-haired recruits. The old wood barracks didn’t have A/C but I think summer was probably better in them than winter.
I saw my first two ticks of the season today. The first was on my garage door this morning, I don’t know what happened to him, the second was on the inside of my car windshield this afternoon, he didn’t survive.
