After searching off and on for the last couple of weeks and the last hour this morning for my stubby phillips screwdriver, I have decided to employ the only proven method of finding it. I will go to the hardware store and buy another.

Update: I just checked in the village and the word is that there are a couple of places between New Lisbon and the Dells where I-94 is washed out.

No I don’t. State patrol is watching over the 21/I-39 intersection and they have their mobile sign boards out, that is all I can see. Maybe something washed out South of Tomah somewhere.

Traffic is a little crazy around here this morning. I-94 is being detoured to I-39 via hwy 21.

I received a message today asking if a multi of mine was still there, the sender stated that he (she) had been there 5 times and couldn’t come up with wp1.

I replied that I had no reason to check it out as there hadn’t been a DNF posted for it in two and a half years.

I thought I heard someone say on the news this morning that we were halfway to Christmas already. Though that isn’t exactly correct, it still gives me pause. I haven’t done any of my shopping yet.

I just looked out the window and saw a black squirrel hopping across the lawn, he had a white tip on his tail. Very stylish.

I was out a little while ago and heard a bunch of sirens then the DNR spotter plane arrived and circled just SE of me for a while. All gone now, must have been someone doing some recreational burning.

Was this the last craphas of the Spring of 2018 ? ? ?

Here in East of Sandland the craphas that landed on existing ice measured 2.5″ , that which landed on bare ground just turned to slush.

No white fluffy stuff here in East of Sandland, it’s more like tiny white beads, Billions and Billions of tiny, heavy, white beads.

I scraped about an inch and a half of the stuff off of the top but don’t think I’ll bother to try and get down to the concrete, with more coming I may just wait until next weekend when it’s supposed to be in the 40’s.

I’ve had a car salesman suggest an extended warranty to me with every purchase. I always give the same reply “If it breaks when it’s just out of warranty, I’ll get rid of it and get something more reliable”, of course the appliance dealer also get this same reply.
