As far as the drawings went, every team (if not every person) recieved a ticket and had a chance for a prize.
But those who found the TEMPS got extra tickets!
And we go back to the cashe bash and somebody getting extra tickets for socializing. It just doesn’t seem fair that you get penilized for NOT finding the temps, by having a smaller chance at a prize, but went after the regular caches in an area you might not have visited before. I’ll be honest, but having temps is a drawback for me. It doesn’t make me want to go to an event, it needs more. And I admit to not being a socialite most of the time.
Why not just eliminate temps, make those that were temps actual caches, yes you would have to work with a reviewer, and then when over if it wasn’t a really good cache archive it or better yet make all really good caches and leave them active.
Just remember when you do create one, visit a Christmas Vacation website. I just read this past holiday season that the actress who played Aunt Bethany:
Born Mae Kwestel in New York City, she won a talent contest at the age of 17, and began performing in vaudeville. She was seen by animator Max Fleischer, who was looking for an actress to provide the voice for his Betty Boop character. Questel’s “Boop-boop-a-doop” routine, done in a style similar to that of the song’s originator, Helen Kane, while at the same time evoking something of the naughty allure of film star Clara Bow, was exactly what Fleischer wanted. From 1931 until 1939, Questel provided the voice of Betty Boop in more than 150 animated shorts. During the 1930s she released a recording of “On the Good Ship Lollipop” which sold more than two million copies.
-from wikipediaI did that last year! Now if I think I might be caching the boots go with!
Welcome to our addiction! Being a full time student also, I know how tough it can be to find those caches!
Well said Marc! I personally would be proud that somebody couldn’t just run out to my puzzle cache right away. It would say I put a lot of thought into my cache!
It’s back for me!
I don’t like the look. It is like they made every section of the page the same size. Also too much white space and I don’t like all the tables. It looks too busy with them! The maps for seasrching also did not allow me to eliminate my caches and finds. Oh yea, it is my page, caches and travel bugs owned, not “your”s!
I would love to but i think the wife would be mad at me for missing her giving birth to our third.
I wouldn’t worry! Depending how creative you were, it might take some time to solve the puzzle.
This is the first time I tried to go out and got that message. I for one will give them a Tuesday so I can still cache on Saturday!
But what is the GC#?
