WTG!
The escort service usually walks you to the front door of Wet Maze 2.300, then waits for loud screaming, or an eventual return. 😯
I think janks15 should finish blazing the trail they started a few weeks ago! 😉
It was fun to see the pictures from the day after cachers, and the weather difference from Wet Maze and The Expedition!
WTG! 8)
There used to be a business in Ashland called “Timeless Timber”. They had a video room, gift shop, and lumber warehouse, right in Ashland. They salvaged sunken lumber out of CheQ. Bay, near Washburn. It’s closed now, but I still have my $7 wooden refrigerator magnet. That’s about all I could afford!
Wet Maze took 40 minutes; The Expedition took about 2 1/2 hours.
Plan accordingly, and don’t forget to tip the shurpa! 8)
ok
We got done ahead of schedule, so the hot chocolate wasn’t quite ready. It tasted good, but looked a bit different. Sloughfoot provided some venison sausage and turkey jerky. Not sure that the crew that hit Pizza Ranch was very hungry, though. WA got the wet leg; jjcool got the wet foot while running to catch up to us. A few fox and rabbit tracks, plus one spot where a deer herd ran through near the end.
I think the 2 hunters that were scoping out the area were the most interesting! They said they never see anyone out here, and a posse of 12 dudes goes sauntering through the area! There were no labrat sightings today. 😥
Watch the logs for pix. And jjcool escorted me out of there!
01/26/2013 at 11:20 pm in reply to: How do you find a geocach start location on this website #1967826Yes, go to the Website that Becca mentioned and put your Zip Code in the box on the Hide and Seek a Cache page. You should see the caches closest to your home address.
That’s how we started…baby steps!Welcome to the WGA! 😀
We all went in at a pretty good pace. I don’t know about the rest, but I was going a little slower on the return trip. Of course, this was my 9th Expedition out here! 😉
Looks like you had fun!
CONGRATS!! 😀
Mostly sunny/ 23 degrees/ 5-10 mph wind. Should be a great walk in the new 1″ of snow!
I’ll trust your #s, WA!
There is a church on the corner of Town Hall Rd. and School Rd.. We used the lot 3 years ago, but we should be able to use the Parking Areas at the east end of School Rd. There’s room for about 60 cars there, so we can use the church lot as the “overflow parking”. 😉
You can do it whenever you want, CJ. Just don’t strand your wife at the mall, in case you have another Wet Maze moment! 😉
Pulling a sled might be a bit much on both walks. You can pm me with more details as to why you would be pulling a sled.
